doubled my 5th grade son's dosage of paxil. week later, son was suicidal several days later. gonzalez did NO followup whatsoever. called gonzalez on the way to emergency room. never called me back. never called back ever. absolutely no follow up. son began hallucinating, which had never hapoened before. son was detoxed in institution for 3 weeks. absolutely no follow up or even a phone all. because of limitations with number of child psychiatsts in albuquerque i was referred to him. horrible experience. reported him to insurance company. should have gone to attorney but was too devastated myself to even deal with it. went to gonzalezs off ice to tell him since he refused to call. refused to speak with me. has never contacted me again.

My appointments get canceled here a lot. I usually just go to someone else in the area because I can't count on them ever. The waiting area is rather small, but there is always a seat available. It would be nice if it was more spacious, but I've never had to stand. I had to wait for a little while after I arrived for my appointment, but I've had to wait longer at other places. They didn't tell me anything about my treatment options. I left feeling very confused and frustrated. I've often wondered if Rene Gonzales is a "real" doctor. The office staff dresses unprofessional. Dr. G seems a bit "loose" and the waiting area smells like body odor.
