I’ve known Dr DeRosa for over 15yrs. He’s been my primary doctor. He gives patients the time and sits and explains everything needed and suggests new ideas and recommends other specialists when needed. There’s never waiting and he’ll make time for his patients even on wknds. Amy and Lisa are great and are always willing to help

Dr. Joseph DeRosa has been my primary care physician for well over ten years. I liked Dr. DeRosa from my very first visit because he made me feel comfortable and he listened to my concerns. He is a very easy person to talk to about health concerns. What I like most about Dr. DeRosa, is his proactive approach to my care. He doesn't wait for a problem to happen. but instead he will look for things that may cause a problem in the future. I am never rushed through my visit and there is rarely, if ever, a wait to see him. If I am sick, he always sees me that day, there isn't a two week wait to get an appointment. I can't say enough about him being an excellent doctor.

I have to agree with the "boutique" remarks from a previous reviewer. I too was a patient of Dr. DeRosa since he took over for the doctor that was there before him. I was very comfortable there until he decided not to participate in any insurance plans. He expects full payment on his "non-reasonable and uncustomary" fees. Then it's up to me to submit it to my insurance and see what I can get back. Considering he is now out of network, it's not much. You can still do very well as a participating physician and there are plenty of fine doctors in my plan. It's a shame his priorities are compromised.

I WAS a patient of Dr DeRosa. I found him to be a respectable and competent physician. When he became a "boutique" doctor I guess he forgot about his Hypacratic Oath. I hope he makes a lot of money because he does not care about all of his patients. He only cares about the ones that can spend. I found out the hard way! I learned a valuable lesson that I will never forget.
