A monster! He and his NPs lie like rugs! Callous & indifferent! His "Neighborhood" program is a SCAM! He should not be able to practice medicine in the state of Nevada! Or anywhere else! One wonders how many of his patients have died due to his negligence.

Unless you have a cold or the flu, all he will do is recommend that you go see a specialist. If one of your specialists recommend a medicine that costs $500+ per month and you tell him you can't afford it, he doesn't suggest a different medicine, but instead ridicules you. This happened on two different occasions. If you see his APRN before you see him, he doesn't even read the concerns that you gave the APRN. When you bring this up with him, he suggests that you find a different practioner

I'll make a very long story short. Dr. Muro only diagnoses a patient based on lab results. Of course, that is obviously an important component of a diagnosis, but so is patient history. I was a new patient for him (my other doctor stopped accepting my insurance) and he, in a roundabout way, refused to acknowledge my medical history. Tests were ordered, and lab values ALMOST (0.8 units away) supported the symptoms I was experiencing. My quality of life was diminishing right before my eyes, and he dismissed me and told me to come back in 6 months. According to him, the problem was my weight. At the time, I weighed 160 and was 5'3". I had gained 35 pounds in 3 years! A competent doctor would later verify that my weight was a direct result of my illness. That was why I could not drop any pounds regardless of what I did. I tried to show Dr. Muro the food journal I was keeping to show him EXACTLY what I was ingesting. He wouldn't even look at it! He said I just had to keep cutting back, and I was probably not counting everything anyway.

Don't waste your time with this guy if you have an ongoing medical condition. This validated my belief that a doctor should not be chosen purely for convenience. I have to drive out of my way to see my new doctor, but my life is worth it!

Every time I come here they always remember me by name and greet me as soon as I walk in the door, even if it's been months since my last appointment. They are so thoughtful and amazingly sweet, I just love this place. They're always able to answer simple questions over the phone. They only make me schedule appointments if necessary. I love that they are always more than happy to answer my questions, and actually welcome questions. I've felt awkward at some other places I've visited when I've tried to ask a lot of questions, but not here. They were by far one of the best I've ever seen in their field. It was obvious that they've been exceeding their clients' expectations for many years.
