I was the first patient on whom that Karl performed a crainiotomy. I was 12 years old at the time (October, Friday the 13th 1967)..

I went on and received a PhD in Inorganic/Organometallic Chemistry. A long the way, I wrote and published 18 journal (Chemistry) articles. Upon entering the work force, wrote and received 28 US patents and 2 patents when working in Belgium.

I believe Karl did an excellent job. I'm confident his standards are as good now as they were when he started in 1967.
