The services and care provided by this dentist office is all about them making a profit and not about good affordable patient healthcare. I later found that two procedures they did were probably not necessary and each caused me unnecessary problems. Beware.

If only I could give them zero stars.... DO NOT go to this dentist. I felt like I was at a car dealership with all of the services they were trying to sell. I just want my teeth cleaned! Trust me, make the drive to "town".

My first experience with Rice & Rice was a simple filling about two years ago. It fell out about a week ago. My second experience with them, I went in to get a small cavity along my gum line taken care of. They numbed me, drilled me, filled me, (and billed me $400), but when I got home the spot was still there, they had done work *right* beside it. I had specifically stated that I had come in for them to work on that spot.

They ripped me off and will rip you off. They are not worth your money. I'd recommend *any* Charlottesville dentist before the Rice's. They are solely interested in your wallet.

They took the time to explain in detail plenty of techniques I could practice at home to prevent cavities and tooth decay. I trust them to only recommend dental procedures I actually need. The staff was pleasant to deal with and curtious. I plan to continue using the dentist as long as they keep a professional attitude and appear to have the patients best interest when making recommendations.

They're really great about taking their time with me, and they don't mind answering my questions. I've never felt like an annoyance to them no matter how many questions I have. It was nice to see them treat their staff with so much respect. It was obvious that they had a good relationship with all of their staff members. They always dress so professionally here, the entire staff obviously makes an effort to look their best and maintain a very professional appearance.
