Whoever posted the kind words about Dr. Hickman's illness, thank you. He's my brother and his battle was ended Sunday June 17th ... appropriately on Father's Day because he was a wonderful father. Services will be held at Salem Lutheran Church 22601 Lutheran Church Rd in Tomball, TX with visitation at 6:00 p.m. and the service at 7:00 p.m. Both in the church. He battled multiple myeloma (bone cancer, for which there is NO cure) for almost 12 years, but this time he just couldn't make it back. He was peaceful with the decision not to have any other treatments and went to meet the Lord whom he loved so much in a spirit of calm surrounded by loving family. ***** ATTENTION *****
For those that are patients of Dr. Hickman. This is probably not the time or place to do this; however, the more people praying for him and his family the better.

For those that do not know Dr. Hickman was diagnosed with bone cancer a few years back and was on the healthy track, managing his illness and always doing "fabulous". We received word today from his family that he is now on hospice and is not expected to be with us much longer. He has battled this horrible disease for a while with his tenacity, determination and his faith he was coming out ahead. Sadly, this is no longer the case. Please keep him and his family in your heart and prayers through this very difficult time.

Dr. Hickman and his staff are very friendly and knowledgeable and always make you feel comfortable, safe and welcome. I have a seven year-old who loves to go for her regular cleaning.
