Dr Huffstutler has been my family's dentist for the past year or so. We have been extremely impressed with his attention to detail and the general positive attitude when we are in the office.

For the last decade or so, I have been a chronic sleep grinder. My teeth had lots of cracks and some of the enamel was worn down to the point that my dentin was exposed. No other dentist has been able to help me with this or even commented on the severity of the issue.

In my first visit, he started pointing out my cracks and damage. Over time, we were able to work out a plan to fix my teeth that fit with my limited budget. I was honestly so impressed with his ability to work out the details in a way my husband and I can afford.

He took a mold and several pictures of my teeth to determine what adjustments needed to be made to my bite, put resin as a kind of cap on my front teeth (which helped a lot aesthetically aside from covering the dentin and providing relief from my temperature sensitivity), adjusted the way the enamel on my back teeth fits together so my teeth touch at the right points when my jaw is resting (this allows the cranial nerve to stop telling my jaw to clamp down as hard as possible all night from what I can understand).

In sum, Dr H did an AMAZING job of communicating the issues, coming up with a plan of attack that worked for my budget, communicating the solution in a way I could understand, getting me scheduled within a few days, and completing a very precise and tedious process very well. I experienced relief the very next day in my jaw and am continuing to have more and more relief every day since.

I cannot recommend Dr H enough. He cares about his patients as people, is extremely knowledgeable on the latest and best dental techniques, and makes an 8 hour day of sitting in a chair with your mouth open more enjoyable. Definitely go to this dentist!

Avoid this dentist like the plague. Google reviews on him. He is a crook and a fraud in addition to being a bad dentist. He has an office in North Richland Hills and his original office is now operating under a new name in order to get out from under the horrible, horrible reviews about him all over the net, "Lake Family & Cosmetic Dentistry" at 4968 Overton Ridge Blvd, Fort Worth, TX 76132. Please do your family a favor and do not get mixed up with this man and his staff. Looks like the Texas Dental Board is finally on his case too.

I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. I would definitely hesitate due to the fact that my experience was sub-par. My biggest disapointment is their staff. They seem nice and talk to you nice, but in the end they don't care about you personally. They have messed up on our appointments. The first instance- I set up a dental cleaning for myself and my husband months in advance. We get off work go to the office for the dental cleaning, but then they say that my husband cannot get a cleaning because he did not get his anual check up by Dr. Huffstutler. I asked the girls why they did not mention this before i set up the appointment. No answer. Apparently Dr. Huffstutler is off on Fridays so my husband could not get a check up or a cleaning that day. Very frustrating! 2nd instance: Today 5/8/13 Loraine or Lorry called to cancell the appointment i had set up months in advance on Friday May 17th. She said "The hygienist will not be working on Friday's anymore." I asked if they were going to honor the appointments already set up for customers before the hygeniest decided not to work on Friday's. She puts me on hold for about 5 mintues. She said "No, there is nothing we can do". So I said "Okay, then I am switching Dentist." She said "Okay." Again, no "I am sorry for the incovenience" or "Let me see what i can do" nothing...apparently they don't care about loosing customers. So i DO NOT recommend these Dentist. Go somewhere else that knows how to treat customers...

They appear to be nice your first visit, then forget it. They apparently don't know what they are doing. I came in and they referred me to see another dentist (specialist) before coming back to them. The specialist said it was not what Huffstutler said it was. So now I've PAID to see the dentist and a specialist and nothing has been done and when I called Huffstutler's office back to see what was going on the dentist would not speak with me and the office staff was very rude. They would not refund me my money. I went to see another dentist, he gave antibotics and in about a week or two, fixed my tooth and I haven't had any problems since then. DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST. I KNOW I NEVER WILL AGAIN. WHAT A CHEAT.....

They examined my teeth very thoroughly to make sure they didn't miss anything. It was nice to know when I left that everything had been taken care of. They make sure to treat all their clients equally and without favoritism. I've always hated it when I've seen favoritism going on at other places I've visited. It's nice that it doesn't happen here. Their staff is very friendly and professional. They made sure that their qualifications were obvious. I was confident that I was under the care of a professional.
