I took my daughters -- the oldest is 10, the youngest is 20 months -- for checkups and cleanings. The outside of the building looks terrible: the murals are faded and a bit scary looking. That said, the inside was cozy and inviting and they had a very well stocked play area for the kids and a television with kids movies.

The ladies at the front desk were very helpful with the paperwork and insurance. Before my oldest had sealants placed and a cavity filled, they checked by benefits to make sure the treatment was covered.

Dr. Herrera and the hygienist (didn't get her name but she had bleach blond hair and was very sweet) were very gentle and thorough with my girls. I appreciated this because this was the youngest's first trip to the dentist. They were also very understanding of the oldest's nervousness about having a cavity filled. I also appreciate when Dr. Herrera pointed out my oldest will need braces on her bottom teeth due to overcrowding, she didn't try and sell me on having it done immediately. She said shop around and find a good deal. It's rare not to have to deal with upselling.

Overall, this was a very positive experience for my daughters and me. This is NOT one of those fancy dental spas, so don't go in expecting vibrating dental chairs and lavender scented towels. Just kind, quality dental work for the kids in a friendly environment,

Sometimes, but most of the time they aren't

Yes, they made me feel like I shouldn't have called

No. It took me several times to get through.
