As when performing any medical procedure, being skilled is important - and Dr Fearber certainly is that - but a physician's demeanor and caring cannot be overlooked. Dr Faerber is as congenial and pleasant a person as you could want. He explained everything that was going to happen. His office helped with financial information, and followed up with a 'care call' after the procedure. It was apparent that Dr Faerber viewed my daughter as a person, not simply a 'customer', and he seems to have that genuine concern for every patient. I wouldn't hesitate to go to him myself, and would certainly recommend him to others.

Excellent Dentist. Professional and caring with great support staff. My gum surgery was very successful and Clarksville is lucky to have his practice here.

Dr. Faerber;

When I was last your patient, it was September 16, 2002 at Good Samaritan, for cleaning and a cavity. By looking at the date, we can safely assume you left a lasting impression up me. Impression of a fine upstanding doctor of dentistry, volunteering his precious time to care for the indigent and uninsured. I understand within Good Samaritan, there isn’t the luxury of picking and choosing your clients. Yet you removed yourself from the plush settings of your office and upscale clients to voluntarily care for those who on any normal day wouldn’t be good enough to spit shine your boots. Myself being one of those in need at that time, not having money, I was left with out choices and options, I didn’t choose you, but in a way you choose me by volunteering. I was I supposed to know your strict no smoking policy? I don’t believe it was fair to me to learn your rules after I was sitting in your chair, expecting a professional to assist me. I also didn’t find it professional or respectful to myself or your nurse for the tirade and berating you gave her and myself for sitting in your chair. If attending to people who smoke bothers you so much, maybe you should have picked a different career path. I even tried to show you some respect by offering to leave, but you insisted that I go ahead and stay since I was already there. My mistake, having faith in you as a professional, and a doctor sworn to the Hippocratic oath. After being informed that nothing could be done for the cavity, you told me you would clean my teeth. Never has a doctor come at me with such rage and anger, that even three weeks later I was still in pain from the cleaning your performed. But that isn’t all you managed to do the night of your cleaning of my teeth, you also managed to crack and chip five of my teeth. At the time I didn’t have much money to fight you, sue, or have anybody support me. I still may not, but I have learned the internet in recent years, and I have learned there are avenues I can explore to reveal your mistreatment. What am I revealing other then your hateful nature, I am revealing that all these years later, your rage has cause me sever gum disease and decay. You took away the joys of brushing my teeth, to the point of dreading the pain. And dreading the cost of having to use expensive tooth paste for sensitive teeth and orajel cause I have to combine them both to brush. The five teeth you crack have been slowing breaking away chips, and I sit here now with four sever broken teeth with exposed nerves. And I am just recovering from another sever abscess, only this time it almost killed me. I am so thank you for swearing not to do any harm. So thankful the insurance I now have will only cover half of the $7,000 cost of the repairs needed and still lacking the funds to fix your mess. So thankful that this may cause permanent damage or death, cause of I am lacking funds to fix your mess. And thank you for destroying my faith and trust in doctors and dentist.

I just wanted to let people know, who are like me, afraid of denists or gum specialist in general. As a child I had horrible experiences that hindered me throughout my entire adulthood life to follow up on dental care. I would always make sure of brushing, flossing, etc., in order to avoid a dentist, so when it came to go to the dentist I would wait 5 years or more. Anyway, Dr Faerber is wonderful and cured me from all that fear. He is very professional to include all his staff. I was impressed with his patience and gentleness, kindness and he makes you feel like you are special because he does truly care. So I would recommend him to anybody that is looking for a great gum specialist!
