Don't use this dentist!!!! My children have been going there every 6 months for 6 years, and suddenly they told my daughter she had 10 cavaties!!!! TEN!!!! Of course we got a second opinion and she had six. I feel like this was negligence because how do you get that many cavities in 6 months. Our second opinion also revealed that both of my children still had glue on their teeth from wearing braces several years ago. I don't understand how you can go every 6 months for cleanings and still have glue on your teeth. IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR TEETH, STAY AWAY FROM INTEGRITY DENTAL!!!!!!

Short story: in my opinion, they cannot be trusted.

Long story: I had just gone to another dentist in December for a cleaning and exam. They did a basic cleaning, no trouble doing that, no threats of gum disease or recommendations for deep cleaning. The dentist told me I had 3 cavities but I was paying cash at the time, and I told him I'd follow up in the new year when I got my insurance. Turns out he's not a provider for my new insurance, so I made an appointment for "Integrity."

You know you're about to get scammed when the hygienist makes a biiiig show of how she's going to measure the "pockets" between your gums and your teeth, telling you anything between 4&5 mm is periodontal disease and "we will have to talk about it," then calling in an assistant to document while they call out "4-2-3, 4-2-5, 4-4-4, 4-2-2," over your whole mouth. So, after I JUST went to this million dollar fancy schmancy dentist in Franklin in December, whose hygienist did a basic cleaning and didn't yammer on about periodontal disease, suddenly I need a deep cleaning and antibiotics shot into my gums "with a follow up visit in 30 days." I told her I've been going to the dentist every 6 months for my whole life, who told me that I had some 4's and 5's but never had a deep cleaning recommended, so I'm just going to get a 2nd opinion from my old dentist (5 hours away, I've relocated) and will just have a basic cleaning today.

She said, "I can't do a basic cleaning, because I recommended a deep cleaning and if I don't do it I will lose my license." So let me get this straight. In your opinion I need a deep cleaning, but you can't even do a basic one. But you CAN send someone with their gums and teeth oh-so-rotten out the door with NO cleaning. Yeah, that makes sense.

Look, if I refuse your goofy $$$ treatment and you document refusal you're not going to lose your license. That's just silly. I contacted the board of dentistry and told them what she said, and they said "I've never heard that one before." Look at it this way: if your doctor told you that you should go on cholesterol medication, but you said "Nah, I'm going to change my diet and exercise and see if I can bring it down the old fashioned way first," does the doctor say "Fine, get out of my office!" There's your answer.

Oh and one other thing: there was a kid, about 15, who came out, and I'm pretty sure they recommended the same thing for him. They talked to his mom in the hallway, but it was in Spanish so I'm not sure. But I did hear "antibiotics" and "gum disease" thrown out there on him, and his mother was rather upset. 15. Years. Old.

Their staff is very friendly and professional. I was very satisfied with my visit. Integrity will NOT recommend unnecessary procedures and will recommend only what is necessary. I was told by other dentists in Smyrna, I needed major work and several hundred dollars worth of gum treatments. Integrity Dental determined all I needed was one filling and one crown and my gums were NOT receding or diseased. They saved me a bundle of money.
