They were nice until I was dissatisfied. The nice folks turned ugly. Do not sign the papers until you are 100# sure or you won't get anyplace afterwards. Before I signed I insisted my upper teeth be more visible. I was told they were fine I looked fine. After I received them I asked for a liner to make them more visible. The manager was rude and said I looked too toothy and he wont change them. I wanted to look how I did all my life. The technician raised his voice and said I would have to pay for a liner. All I was told over and over was I signed the papers so nothing they can do.

I called into get an appointment with the young lady in the Dubois office. The lady I spoke to on the phone ( Shauna) was very very rude. Instead of saying that the young lady is no longer with the company that she could schedule me with someone else. She stated that the young lady was terminated and no longer with the company. I will not come back to K&C because the young lady they got rid of was a very kind outgoing person and she always made sure that all my concerns was taken care of and very friendly.

I've been going the Altoona Office. I absolutely love the staff and the Oral Surgeon that pull 17 or 18 teeth out of my mouth. They kept me comfortable, as much as possible, through the entire process. I had my teeth pulled on Wednesday March 24. The awesome Dental Tech put my temps in for me, put lots of gauze in my mouth and gave me instructions and an appt for the end of April.

I've since found out that when you have the number of extractions that I had in one sitting, a follow up should be made for the next day.
My temps are horrible. I can't wear them. They severely hurt when I put them in, not only where my teeth were pulled but down deep on the back sides. If I leave them in for just a few minutes, the area around my jaw bone in the gets the beginning of a cut, on both sides, and starts to swell. I found out that I should have been given a soft lining for inside my temps.. It doesn't seem to matter how swollen my gum are or aren't, the temp dentures I was given was not made for my mouth. They're larger than my mouth and extremely heavy.
I called on Friday, the woman said she could give me an appointment because their internet was out. So, I gave her my name and number and she said someone would call me back once the internet was back. I've tried calling every K & C number that I have, however there no way to leave a message to talk to an Oral Surgeon or a Denture Professional. I'm very upset. Those temps are more like torcher devices. I know it can all be corrected, I hope, however nothing can be done til I get to the office.

We did not visit the K n C Dentures in Altoona. We visited the one in Lamar. My mom went there for dentures. She always told me how rude the receptionist was to her. After a series of visits she finally requested her money back. We went there today 10/27/2016 around 11:40a.m. to get her refund check. My mom and I told the receptionist we were there to pick up my mom's check. She handed my mom the check. I requested a receipt saying we returned the dentures. Receptionist said what more do you people want! We don't do that here! I said can't you write a receipt out? NO WE DON'T DO THAT HERE!!! I told receptionist that's no way to run a business. She replied again what more do you people want! You mom has been here several times to have her dentures fixed. I looked at her and said and that didn't happen. I would never recommend this place to anyone!! Did not get her name but she has long blonde hair, glasses, 30ish if that. I felt the receptionist was very rude and her actions were uncalled for. My mom is 84 years old and should not be treated that way.
