I have been going to this office for several years. I've never really been thrilled with the level of care they provided but they were convenient, so I stayed. Until now! They take Xrays at every appointment. Most insurance plans, including mine, only cover them once a year. I requested that I not have Xrays taken at this appointment and they told me they would not clean my teeth unless I had the Xrays done. Bullying me in to services I didn't want or need. I would have walked out but I assumed they would have charged me for a missed appointment. Anything for more money!
I have always had issues with billing. I get charged for things insurance didn't cover. But according to my insurance it should be covered 100%. I guess because they are doing procedures without telling you they aren't covered by insurance, i.e. extra Xrays. I had my kids in with me and they didn't even floss one of kids teeth. Isn't that part of the normal cleaning process? She was running late and I guess it seemed ok for them to skip flossing a kids teeth. She wasn't even going to scrape them until I said something. If you have to cancel an appointment, look out. They will call you constantly trying to get you to reschedule. My family won't be going back.

The words that started it all from Dr. Christine Snow: "You have some small cavities coming in on this tooth but they are too small to do anything about right now." At my 6 month checkup, still not enough to do anything. By my next one (another 6 months) they were big and ready to fill. She filled them; they were large fillings by this time. I had pain and discomfort afterwards, and she advised to allow 8 wks or so for everything to adjust. I went back after 8-10 wks, and she couldn't do anything for me. She said I needed to see an Endodontist for RCT (root canal therapy) and likely a crown after that. Long story short, my tooth did not respond to the filling so I had the RCT and crown done. Now, 3 months later - I have pain in this tooth. My RCT either failed or I have a cracked tooth under the crown (Endo appt next week). So I will either need a re-do RCT or an extraction (and implant afterwards). Kallmeyer's office are crooks! These people writing reviews are right! Do not see this dental team. Plus they messed up my permanent crown and had to send it back out for more porcelain. I switched dentists after all this (and LOTS of unnecessary money from my pocket and insurance) and I am still trying to figure out why my "small cavities" weren't filled over a year ago in the first place (crooks).

One star is generous. I would agree with the previous review. I had a crown made here and they refused to honor their provider agreement with my insurance. Told me it was secondary insurance and that I had to pay the difference. My insurance company told me that he was wrong (they are a national provider and stated that my medical insurance is never the primary insurance for major dental which was what he was trying to base his payment on) and that I was not responsible. The office employees continued to contact me saying I was responsible and Kallmeyer would never speak with me directly. The insurance company ended up paying him although they said they were going to drop him as a provider for violating his contract. On top of all that the crown was so poorly made I had to replace it about 3 years later. The quality of my new crown from a major lab is leaps and bounds above the crown he made on his office machine and the new dentist actually only made me pay what was listed by my insurance without the primary-secondary insurance nonsense raised by this office. The cost were the same but the quality is way better than the CAD crown from this office. If only I could get my money back.

I would caution against going to this office. My family have been patients for 3+ years and were amongbtheir first patints but since decided to go elsewhere. We always felt they were pricey and pushy with unnecessary procedures compared with other dentists but continued to see them due to the long standing relationship and convenience. My spouse required many costly procedures over the years many of which other dentists said were unnecessary. Their statements were always confusing as they rarely matched eobs, took months to receive and were never itemized. What finally made us leave was the extremely aggressive way they pursued a pricey charge for a missed appointment. Everyone in my family has used this doc for many years spending significant $$$. We always paid bills timely and arrived for scheduled apps.. The office unlike other offices doesnt provide any kind of automated 24 hr reminder call and and we had never before been notified of any prior missed appt or appt not cancelled timely. Despite the compelling reasons why we didn't make the appt, the office refused to waive it. Ironically, 10 minutes after the scheduled appt time we received a call from the office asking where we were and we offered to still come in albeit a few minutes late. They said not to worry about it but then stuck the charge in a lump sum bill for other services. It was only after requesting they break down the charges we noted the penalty. They have continued to pursue this despite losing us as patients. Staff have been abrupt and rude never pausing to recognize our loyalty. After talking with other former patients in the community I'm learning that our experiences are similar. This office clearly doesn't get it.

This by far is the worst dental office I have ever been to in my life. Their charges for cleanings are shady, everyone in my family got a different charge for the same thing and I work in a medical office so I know about EOB's. They always seem to push procedures that, in my opinion aren't needed. They start doing things without relaying if it's covered or not. And if you should have a problem with a bill? Forget it!! They skirt around and won't answer your questions and good luck trying to speak with him about it. He has refused to speak with us several times, we even tried to make an appointment to sit down with him but no.. Who does he think he is, the Wizard of Oz?!?!? I highly warn you against going to this practice!
