Dr. Jusino is not a good dentist. I would never recommend her. I have been going to North Medical Dentistry for over a year now, and have had TWO problems stemming from work that Dr. Jusino did for me. First she had to replace a cap that she did for me twice, because it was improperly sized and kept falling off. Second, after having a root canal done (by a specialist), I developed a large bump at my gumline. I made an appointment to find out what it was, and Dr. Jusino's exact words to me were, "Don't worry about it." I thought it was odd at the time, but trusted that she knew what she was talking about, and figured the bump would go away. Turns out the bump was an infection, and because I "didn't worry about it" for several weeks, now I have to have oral surgery to scrape out the infected tissue. So gross. If Dr. Jusino had realized this was an infection, I could have taken antibiotics and wouldn't need oral surgery. Needless to say, I am changing dentists and would never recommend having any work, besides routine cleanings, at this office. It's unfortunate, because the hygenists who do regular cleanings are wonderful...but don't trust the doctor.

At my last visit, I arrived 10 minutes before my scheduled appointment. I signed in at the receptionist desk, where she barely looked away from the conversation she was having with a friend to acknowledge me. I then sat in the waiting room for an HOUR, watching other patients come in to the office after me and being called before me. I assumed that maybe because I was there for fillings I would be seeing a different doctor, therefore waiting longer. An hour after my scheduled appointment time I was called in by a relatively unpleasant dental assistant. She pointed me to a room down the hallway but did not escort me. The dentist came in a few moments later and told me that she would get done what she could but I may have to come back because "I was late and had missed my appointment time". I explained to her that I had been here on time and had waited an hour. She treated me as if I was lying. Then she rushed through the fillings on two of my teeth, being incredibly hard handed and not at all gentle. I left with a welt on my top lip where a tongue depressor had been dug into my skin by the assistant. I had to schedule the rest of my fillings for a week later, even though they were all supposed to be done in one visit. There were no other people in the waiting room when I left, so I was rushed through and inconvenienced with a return visit all because the dentist didn't want to cut in to her lunch break. My fillings both fell out within an hour. Most likely due to the rushed and shotty work of the dentist. I would never recommend this dentist to anyone. In fact, I will never be returning there either.
