Because of the new healthcare law I was able to get my grown kids on my Dental Insurance; we went to Nikodem as new patients, did the exam and gave us a proposed treatment plan for both kids to the tune of nearly $4,000 each out-of-pocket. I made it very clear numerous times/numerous people that we could only afford the regular cleaning and cavities this year, they went ahead and did the perio scaling and said we owed $75, when I called about the mistake the office manager, Mollie Cook, told me he had to get it or find a new dentist!!! She was actually yelling at me on the phone. Unbelievable!!

I was a customer of Nikodem (Butler Hill) for nearly a decade, and was always treated with the uttermost respect. In recent years, my family relocated, and we were excited about the new Warrenton location. The first several visits were great. However, my most recent visits were from hell. I went in for a routine cleaning, and was informed of 3 cavities. The dentist (Dr. Meyer) said that he could fill all three that same day. Prior to meeting him, I have NEVER had pain in my mouth, and have a near-flawless dental history. But since this experience, my mouth is sore, and I can't even eat right, nearly two months later. Now, pain shoots through my mouth whenever I eat crunchy foods. My experience sounds much like some of the other reviews. I returned on four additional visits--the fifth was back at the Butler Hill location where one of the doc's sounds (and acts) like Will Ferrell's character, Jackie Moon, and addresses patients as Babe and Hon. Each visit consisted of drilling down the filling, and sending me home. Previously, when I told Doctor Meyer I still felt pain; he took a deep breath, and rolled his eyes as if I were somehow interfering with the flow of his day. Wish I had seen the negative reviews sooner, because I certainly regret my last visit.

They barely gave me any information at all. I'm going to have to do my own research to get my questions answered. Their staff was friendly enough, but they didn't go out of their way to help me. I feel like my appointment was pointless. None of my questions were answered, nothing was accomplished, and I felt worse when I left. It was pretty hard to find the building, but I eventually found it. I would never visit them again. I was very disappointed. The female dentist is horrible and destroyed my mouth trying to take out a tooth
