Terrible dentist. I am now having most of the work he did over the past 3 years re-done by a competent dentist. His office is chaotic, he spends most of his time yelling at his staff and at people over the phone. He rushes through appointments and delegates most of the work to his techs!

Had an emergency dental situation. Dr. Snitzer's office got me right in and 1 extraction, 3 implants and temporary crown on another tooth I was on my way. I felt extremely comfortable through an awful lot of Dental work!

Dr. Snitzer has an off-putting chairside manner. He comes across as arrogant and aggressive. I heard him yell at his staff while I was waiting in the exam room. The hygienist didn't seem to think it was out of the ordinary when I mentioned it to her. He accidentally ground part of a good tooth next to a crown he was prepping - said "oops" but didn't take responsibility for it. I noticed it with my tongue after the appointment. I get the feeling he is recommending an unnecessary procedure even though he hasn't confirmed a problem with x-rays.His unsubstantiated opinion is not enough for me to spend $800. It's time for me to move on.

I just have to share my experiences in the hope that it will help some people avoid what I have had to go through with this dentist. I can tell you from first hand experience that Richard Snitzer is simply not qualified for certain procedures. I have the constant and lingering tooth pain to prove it. If you’re thinking about making him your dentist, here’s something else you should know. His so called “chair side manner” is about as pleasing as open heart surgery. Snitzer is in a constant mad dash to make as much money as he possibly can and that means rushing in from one dental room to another. He goes into your room, works on you for maybe 3 or 4 minutes, barely says a word and rushes out into another room to work on someone else. It’s a disgusting display of unprofessional behavior. And God forbid if you have a question or try to have a discussion about what he is doing to your teeth. Oh no, there’s no time for that because Snitzer has to go on to the next customer. I use the word customer because people who go see him are not treated as patients, they are just customers. Save yourself the grief and look elsewhere.
