After waiting for 45 minutes. The doctor was extremely rude and unprofessional. My main reason for seeking this doctor was to get my prescriptions refilled because my primary care doctor is 4 hours away, Dr. Boggess was 2. I called, told the front desks girls that, made my appointment, went to see him. He immediately walked into my room with his own opinion and agenda set before ever meeting me or speaking with me. A year ago I was prescribed some anxiety medication. It has greatly improved my quality of life. I have had a lot of past trauma, I tried explaining this to Dr. Boggess but he didn't want to hear it. He didn't want to prescribe my medication because long term it could become addictive. I've been monitored on this medication by my primary care doctor and have only taken the recommended dosage. It is one of the more relaxed, subtle medications for anxiety, It's not xanax, its not harsh. I am myself on it, my family and husband agrees. I have no side affects on it. Yet, he insisted if I wanted the refill I had to find another doctor, I asked him what he recommended and he recommended an anti depressant to "calm me" when I am not depressed. I have an anxiety disorder HUGE difference. I have been put on anti depressants before in the past (which i told the doctor) steaming from previously mentioned trauma. The one he suggested I had already been on, It gave me side effects. I prefer my anxiety medication that allows me to function like a healthy, normal adult rather than anti depressants that just numb me, make me sick and make me sleep for two days. This doctor is nuts. He didnt' even want my history or an accurate background before assessing. Then when I refused the anti depressants he STORMED out of the room. He said, NO, shoved a piece of paper in my face (i think the one you give to the nurse on checkout) and he went to the next patient. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. HE DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOU, YOUR HEALTH, YOUR BACKGROUND, YOUR QUALITY OF LIFE OR WELL BEING.

I will be switching doctors very soon. After waiting about 30-40 minutes in the waiting, he takes a very long time to see me (about another half hour), making it very hard to plan out my day. Doesn't seem to care about my aliments. He won't sit there with me long enough to thoroughly talk to him about my issues.

He misdiagnosed me, I had a salmonella infection from uncooked brownie batter and he thought it was my consistent diet. He wanted to get an X-Ray of my abdomen, talking very fast, constantly leaving the room, rushed me out the room, and leaving me very confused; I never did get that x-ray either. I do not trust him to diagnose me with any other illness.

Also, he wasn't aware that he wasn't supposed to give women under 21 a pap smear, I've been getting a pap smear for years, what a waste and what an idiot; I know the guidelines have changed, but that was in 2009, he told me this last year (2014). I just did a quick Google search (that Dr. Boggess is perfectly capable of), oldest article about it in this state was 2009. Unbelievable.

He is also very rude to my mother, who is under his care. He would insult her weight, and was generally careless and uninterested. Definitely would not recommend, unless you're desperate to find a doctor.

Dr. Brent Boggess is rude inconsiderate and has no sympathy.he is basically your back yard bully.my family will not ever be back to see this hack of a Dr.as a matter of fact i would not send my worst enemy to Dr. Boggess.Dr boggess will proceed to call you a liar and call you names.i will let every one i know not to take him on as there Dr. or veterinarian.He blames all my partners pain on her being fat she has lost 80 lbs in the past 8 months and been trying to exercise as much as possible,she has cut soda from her diet eats once a day if i beg her and this prick calls her fat.i feel dr boggess is trying to push her into depression.worst excuse of a human being out there and calls himself a Dr.of medicine. I am forced to put one star but he needs to be at negative stars

Dr. Boggess's office is very clean and always welcoming. The staff members wear scrubs which makes the atmosphere look personal, and clean. Now, to speak of Dr. Boggess: He is a wonderful Dr. who always greets his patients with his warm welcoming smile. Wearing his lab coat over casual but dressed clothing, his is still a very humble man who cares deeply for his patients. If an illness is beyond his realm, Dr. Boggess is quick to refer his patients to those who are more familiar in such an illness. Otherwise, he is always on top of proper treatment and makes sure his patients understand his reasoning, how to proceed with personal care, and invites any questions one might have. Dr. Boggess is the one to go to for taking care of any issues with respect. I thank Dr. Boggess.

Honestly the questions I was asked to leave a review were kind of stupid. All I can say is I saw Dr. Brent Boggess 20 years ago and I had seen several doctors prior to him in which I was desperately trying to get a proper diagnosis for my knees. Amazingly, after 3 previous doctors, Dr. Boggess diagnosed the problem with my knees and referred me to a surgeon who could resolve this ongoing problem. He was thorough enough to resolve a problem that was causing me pain for several year. I have recently moved back to the area and am hoping I can start going back to Dr. Boggess. He believed my pain when other doctors misdiagnosed, he listens, is knowledgeable and I sincerely hope to have him as my doctor once again.

Whenever I make an appointment, I'm always confident that they're going to be ready for me at my scheduled time. At other places I've been to, it's always bothered me when they postpone my appointment, but they've never done that here. I will definitely refer my friends and family here. They were great and I think more people should know about them. Not only did I find a parking spot right away, but I knew my car was safe because the spots were designated and close to the entrance. I was completely at ease during my appointment here. They went to great lengths to make sure I was completely relaxed and comfortable the entire time. I felt that they really valued my health and happiness because they followed up even after my appointment just to check up on me. It was such a nice gesture that made a huge difference.
