I have been coming to Dental Arts for several years.  I started coming because they accepted my not-so-common insurance plan, and have stayed because of the great care my pearly whites get there.  The office staff is extremely friendly and really go the extra mile to accommodate my crazy schedule and insurance needs.  I've seen a few hygienists there who have really gotten my teeth squeaky clean and shiny - painlessly!!  The doctor is extremely friendly and easy to talk to and has a great chair-side manner.  I don't usually need much work, but he's always right on top of things.  He always explains everything really well and really puts me at ease.  The office has really "swanked-up" recently (nice!!), but the same friendly faces are still there.  Love the location!  Love the doctor and now I LOVE MY SMILE!!!

I had a great experience here. I have a very small mouth, and dentists always say they can't reach my back teeth. Dr. Dobrin put a small plastic thing in my mouth that propped it open. And then, miracle-- it stayed open wide and he did my fillings. No strain, no pain. The front desk people were nice and I like the way the office is clean. A bit pricey, but that is Davis Square, I guess.

While I would never lie and say I like going to the dentist, I have to admit that my dentist is pretty excellent. His office in Davis Square, Dental Arts, is clean and busy (I would say busy is probably a good sign). Dr. Dobrin has been my dentist since I moved to Massachusetts, and I was recommended to him by a co-worker. He is very patient and very good at explaining things. Gentle with the needle, and keeps the mood upbeat. Never hurts. Before I had insurance, he worked out a plan for me where he only did the most important things and gave me time to make payments and catch up before continuing, and I am very thankful for that. My hygienist, Bernadette, is wonderful, and always gives out a fun goody bag with samples when I leave. The only downside is parking: there is parking on the street and in a few nearby lots, but they have meters and if you don't make a morning appointment, it can get tough to find a space in the afternoon. Easier to take the T.

I have been a patient of Dr. Dobrin's for almost ten years. He is kind, enthusiastic, and caring. His dental work is excellent. I have recommended friends and co-workers, and my husband and children are his patients as well. Although I am a dental-phobic, I have always felt comfortable, and am not afraid of dental appointments, as I was when I was growing up. His office staff and hygienist, Kathy, are wonderful!

I hate to say it but Dr. Dobrin's fillings keep coming off after only a few months. Shouldn't they last at least a while? He may be nice and all but his skills are so..so. Time to look at a different dentist.

I have moved many times over the years and have visited many dentists, but my faith in doctors was renewed when I walked into Dr. Dobrin's office. He was kind, patient and actually listened to my questions and answered them. (Something many doctors do not do anymore). He is gentle and very professional, and explained everything he was going to do in advance. The office is friendly and youthful, and I have been spreading the word.
