He has been my care provider for over 17 years, he has oversight for my medication and would trust no other. He saved my life by explaining to me that a non-productive cough I had for a year should be checked by a Pulmonologist. I did and was diagnosed with a very rare cancer, Thymoma Ab. We have a great communications.

Dr. Blaes came highly recommended by a nurse practitioner friend. He was empathetic, articulate, and very thorough in our initial meeting. He focused more on my anxiety than my depression, which surprised me. I looked forward to seeing him again, but unfortunately, I was in a high-stress situation, missed his office's reminder call, and the office completely cut me off - as is their policy, so beware- for missing an appointment. That lack of compassion - cutting off someone who needed help rather than just billing for a missed appointment - was shocking. I would never recommend this office to a person who has major depression and cannot always make it to appointments.
