I was assigned to him during an FDA approved clinical trial back in 2006. It went horribly wrong on the side of the University of Maryland Medical System, the 'neurosurgeon' there, I was bullied by a multi-billion $ Big Pharma medical device corporation, the FDA & the U. S. Supreme Court. The only one who had my side & fought for me, even sending me to other surgeons to fix the butchery I endured by the one the Big Pharma device company appointed to me, was Dr. Larry Adler, M. D. He fought to have my bills paid by that predatory company although they never did. He saved my life by sending me to surgeons who weren't affiliated with that predatory corporation. All the while, he was affiliated with that same company! I will always be eternally grateful to Dr. Adler. He's been a tireless advocate for people who suffer from severe, crippling, treatment resistant depression for decades. I wouldn't be here if it weren't for Dr. Adler. He honestly cared & went out of his way to help me with what's moral & right. I have been trying to get in touch with him for years bc I recently found out that my device is NOT registered with the FDA & received a letter from MedWatch who believes that my device "was convienently disposed of''. So I opened up a formal investigation with the FDA about this. I hear he also is a SPRAVATO provider and I would love to have him as my overseeing psychiatrist. I have researched ketamine studies for over a decade. I had 6 off market infusions in November, 2018 but they're lasting effect is not good. It DOES WORK. I owe so much to Dr. Adler & I will absolutely recommend him to others.

I saw Dr Adler twice in 2008 - I waited 2 hours the first time and 3 the second (I'm not exaggerating). When I asked if such long wait times were common, the desk staff advised me to consider seeing a PN if I minded waiting. I've since been seeing a PN but am currently looking for a new practice. I don't feel like my PN listens to me, the staff (except for one gal) is incompetent, unhelpful, and uninterested; they talk to patients liks they're scolding children. Calling for a prescription refill is a nightmarish hassle. They don't return calls, offer assistance with anything, and if they receive a refill request from your pharmacy, they ignore it. Ridiculous. Racket. Beware.
