Dr Folke was my dentist for 5 years. He claimed to be a cosmetic dentist but he only does an amateur job. He placed several crowns, some do not fit right and two leave a gap at the gum line. He blamed me that somehow my gums were inflamed during the fitting. I was forgiving because I felt he tried his best. I am also a health care professional and realize the pressures of the job.
He became vindictive and egomaniacal when I asked him to redo some fillings he gave me at my gum line. He filled them with some yellow resin, definitely not in the spirit of cosmetic dentistry. He took it very personally and became quite hostile toward me. He told me he did not have chair time for me at my scheduled appt. A complete waste of time. Like my time is not valuable; translated as I am not a valued patient of his. So I terminated him as my dentist.
I could continue with some of the unprofessional comments that were made by him and his staff (that I overlooked in the beginning) but you get the idea. He seems to have become too busy so he is cherry picking his patients now. Some, like myself, he is running off if you are not his definition of an ideal patient/person.
So if you just want mediocre//functional teeth then Vale Park dental is your place. If you are picky about your teeth and want an attractive smile then Dr. Folke might not have the time or competence for you.
