My husband went to Crow Valley Dental in May of 2013. He came home with a list of things he had wrong with his teeth. I didn't think much of it because he hadn't been to the dentist in 7 years. We were told to wait for the estimate from our insurance. We received the estimate and we were going to be responsible for more than $800 of the service... this was several hundred more than the insurance was going to pay. They told my husband they would call him when they received the estimate. He called to follow-up because we had received it and left a message. He never heard back. They told him he had periodontal disease and would need the treatment. After we did not hear back from them we decided to get a second opinion. My husband went today for the second opinion and he does not have periodontal disease and they only thing wrong is cavities (which were expected and crow valley did say he had). We will only have to pay $240 for all 5 cavities. I feel very disgusted that Crow Valley tried to get us to have work done that was not need and not covered by our insurance. Please do not go to this place and support their unethical behavior.

They completely messed up my teeth, and then argued to the death about fixing their mistakes.

I would never visit them again. I could not possibly have been any more disappointed than I was.

They're really great about taking their time with me, and they don't mind answering my questions. I've never felt like an annoyance to them no matter how many questions I have. They seemed to know what they were talking about most of the time, but I still wasn't very comfortable. They were very qualified and knowledgeable. I could tell that they've been doing their job well for quite a while. That was Dr. Baumgerten. I have no idea who the new dentist is. I am feeling a little scepticle right now after reading the reviews.

I went to this dentist in September 2011, right when a new dentist started. She had red hair (don't remember her name). She was pleasant during my 1st appt, which happened to be her 1st day as well. I returned a couple weeks later to have 2 procedures done, and was shocked at how different the dentist behaved. She did not greet me, and checked her watch in front of me while working in my mouth. After numbing me, she left me for 25 minutes. When she returned, she said she would only be doing 1 of the 2 procedures. I asked why, & she said, in a non-friendly voice, verbatim: "WHY? Because I'm tired and feeling pressured. I have patients waiting in the other rooms and I don't think you want me working on your mouth." I was shocked by her lack of professionalism. Had I not already been numbed up, I would have left immediately. I also witnessed her treating the dental assistant poorly. I sought dental care elsewhere and was informed the work she did do had to be re-done, AND she had planned to drill a cavity where there was no cavity. I apologize for the lengthy review; I'm a firm believer in patient-centered care, especially with advanced dental practices our society has today.

I went to Crow valley Dental care and saw Dr. Baumgarten, he is the nicest guy and down to earth.
I have had alot of bad dental experiences in the past and so I was nervous when I came in
and he was so good I am over my fears!
