The office was very easy to locate. I didn't have any trouble finding it at all. They always take that extra step to make me feel special. I always enjoy my appointments here. The staff really knows what they're doing, and they know a lot about the company they work for. They're able to answer most of my questions, and the only ones they don't are the ones they need their boss's approval for. I didn't experience any unnecessary pain during my visit, and I was amazed at how much better I felt after I left. One thing I noticed about their office was how absolutely fantastic it smelled. They must clean or sanitize all the time.

treating me for three years now and has provided exceptional care. Her staff is always professional, warm, knowledgeable and friendly. I have referred her to several family members, colleagues and friends. Simply put, she is the best! I have been a resident of metro Atlanta for forty years and her office is a jewel in our community. She keeps Dekalb and metro Atlanta smiling.

Aside from the typical overbooking appointments and sitting in the waiting room 30mins or more, I thought I'd finally found a decent dentist for my 8yo. until I arrived for her 1st appointment. I'd filled out all the new patient paperwork before we arrived. I purposely did not sign the consent form to allow digital pictures to be taken of my daughter (not dental pictures, mind you; headshots). This was a HUGE PROBLEM to Shauna Mitchell. She actually REFUSED to see my daughter if I didn't allow the picture to be taken. Needless to say, my daughter was not seen. Shauna Mitchell even refused to come out and discuss it with me. Her receptionist, Michelle, gave me the bottom line...no picture, no service. In this day and age of raising children and trying to teach them not to allow pictures to be taken of them by just anyone, I thought Shauna would at least hear my concern and try to understand. Not a chance. I left thinking 'You're more concerned with getting a picture of my daughter than evaluating her dental issue.' I always try to patronize my community businesses; but, Shauna just proved the old adage 'Go to the OTHER man if you want good service.' One day I'll learn, though. As much as I want to keep my business in my communtity, the business needs to be worthy of my patronage. This was not my experience with Smiles by Shauna. I couldn't believe she'd let an 8yo with a toothache walk out of the office untreated because she couldn't get a picture of her. What was the picture REALLY for and why was it so important that a child left with the same untreated pain she arrived with?

Signed,
Still looking for a decent dentist!
