I decided to do Invisalign with Dr. Gilbert. He told me it would take about 5 months. I completed the treatment and now there is a gap in my front lower teeth - right in front - which is ok, because the treatment just keeps going until you have the results you want.

I was asked to schedule an appointment for two weeks later in order to come back and get my new treatment trays for the Invisalign to continue. When I showed up for my appointment two weeks later (which I got an email reminder for AND had to confirm online two days before my appointment) I waited for 30-40 minutes before being told that they didn't have my Invisalign trays yet. And that I would have to wait two more weeks because he was going on vacation.

This is after I spent almost two hours at this office two weeks before so that he could get new impressions - a process that he had to do twice because of his inability to get my impressions correctly the first time.

I am a teacher and I have a very busy schedule - it is difficult for me to leave school and run across town for appointments. Dr. Gilbert just said that the lady who normally did the calls was out sick - but he has a receptionist - how hard is it to call someone? How hard is it to check this? He has a missed appointment fee of $75 but when he messes up, his attitude was "oh well, things happen." That is literally what he told me.

He then offered to just finish the treatment on that day and make me retainers - even though I have a HUGE gap in my front teeth and I am getting married in December. After the price I paid for this treatment, this was an unacceptable solution to this issue. He knows all of this and just said "gaps happen - healthcare is unpredictable."

All around his office are signs saying that a referral is the greatest gift a patient could give. Well, I am going to definitely tell people my experience at this office. I am frustrated that I am now stuck with a dentist who I paid a lot of money to make my teeth perfect but his attitude is "healthcare is unpredictable". Do you want a doctor who thinks that this process is unpredictable??? Go elsewhere!!!

They were so kind and attentive to me. I didn't have to worry about them arguing with me, or contradicting what I had to say, which has been a problem for me at other places. Their primary concern is my safety and comfort, and they always take the time to address every concern of mine immediately. Their office was the absolute perfect temperature. It was so nice to be able to get out of the weather outside and sit in a relaxing, comfortable office. They almost always have a promotion or special going on. Whether its a complimentary consultation for new clients or a percent-off a certain service, I always get some sort of discount. The toothpaste they used during my cleaning tasted great. It made the experience that much better.

Not really. I usually have to remind them.

Never! They have lots of business, but they do such a great job of never overbooking.
