Absolutely terrible service. Not only did I wait in my room for an hour without seeing anyone, they mailed my bills to the incorrect address and failed to call me to tell me I had a bill so now I'm dealing with a debt collector. If you don't want my situation to happen to you PLEASE do not go to this doctor. I have never had issues with a doctor and this is the worst doctor in Bloomington.

I had an IUD placed about a year ago. It was the BEST thing and I have experienced a much improved quality of life. Before having the Mirena inserted, my periods were horrible to say the least. Excessive cramping and bleeding along with indescribably pain. There was an adjustment period to the IUD at first. For anyone that understands the human body and homeostasis, change does not flip on/off like a light switch. Today, my monthly period is:
1.) Predictable
2.) Light
3.) Pain-free
All because of Dr. Corning and her skill in placing the IUD. No post insertion infection or complications. No oral hormones that may increase my risk of developing breast cancer (as I have a family history). All good.

Thank you, Dr. Corning.

A warm and inviting atmosphere and then you meet Dr. Kinsey-Corning. She is friendly, does not rush and is genuinely concerned about all your needs. She is attentive and caring. I wish I could give a higher review.

NEVER EVER get an IUD here! Mine was put in while I was there because I thought I had an infection! For the next 3 months I had a weird yellow discharge and got prescribed antibiotic 4 times! Even though they did nothing to alleviate the symptom! I told the nurse practitioner TWICE that I was having a weird pain in my upper right abdominal (consistant with PID) and she did nothing, but say that if I had PID I'd be screaming in pain. ( This is not true, seeing as it can be classified as severe, ACUTE, or asymptomatic). Also wanted to get boric acid since I was consistently getting BV and was worried about yeast since I was on so many antibiotics. She said she'd look into prescribing it for me, but since I tested positive she wouldn't get it for me and just gave me more antibiotics. I might have been able to explain why I wanted the boric acid again, but they never talk to you themselves on the phone. Anyway, finally switched to Dr. Richey and he actually listened and gave me an ultrasound. Turns out my IUD had most likely never been perfectly in place, (which might explain the discharge if it was moving around) and the last time I went the nurse practitioner yanked it significantly out of place because I felt it and my bf commented how my strings felt much longer that night. So they literally caused me all my discomfort, made my have unprotected sex, and did nothing when I stated my concerns. Just don't go here.

I could tell that they took pride in their office's appearance. It was very well organized and well taken care of. The restrooms at this office were spotless. I was very apprehensive about this visit in general and Dr Corning put me at ease right away. She came in and we talked before any exam was started. She made sure every single question I had was answered, and I could understand what she was sayiang to me. I will definately be making Dr. Corning my new "Women's Issues" doctor. Thank you for making a difficult day much easier : )
