This office was quite unprofessional with staff goofing around more so than paying professional care to patience. What was worse was the procedure I needed done, a root canal, the dentist could not do it and wanted to refer me ~25 miles away to a specialist dentist in Sarasota. What an inconvenience. Instead of going to his associate firm, I simply found a more qualified dentist and office. That is the good news, I found a much better dentist. But the bad news is, I settled my bill in full with them 100% paid in their office before leaving and now we are fighting over a $47 bill that they sent me months after being done with them and they will not provide proof I owe that money. I have asked for an accounting balance in writing showing how I could owe $47 more after several months of having no balance and being paid 100% and they did not respond. They did worse. I received a letter from a collection agency in Ohio. It's turned into a huge fiasco. So, my recommendation, until they learn how to operate professionally and properly, run to a more qualified dentist. I gave these guys the benefit of the doubt during my first few visits, but in the end dealing with them is a total disaster and pain in the a$$. Nice office staff do not make them a professional or well qualified operation to deal with overall. I'm calling them again tomorrow and will ask for a full accounting balance (proof), and will certainly pay it if I owe it but I cannot see how that is possible unless they are fabricating a charge, but I bet they'll make some bogus excuse to not provide it or come up with some magic accounting to inject the charge back into the earlier fees that have been paid in full. Next I am going to consumer affairs in Ohio and Florida, and if that does not help, an attorney if they won't provide the proof and continue to harass me via the collection agency. These idiots could just provide me proof and I'll pay it but they have not and appear to be operating using questionable accounting practices, at least by my experience so far.

I feel like my appointment was pointless. None of my questions were answered, nothing was accomplished, and I felt worse when I left. The office was easy enough to find. If I couldn't find anyone better, I'd return again, but I'm hoping I can find better service somewhere else. WARNING!!!! THEY WILL BAIT AND SWITCH!!! I WAS TOLD ONE PRICE TO HAVE A PROCEDURE DONE, THEN THEY TRIED TO DOUBLE THE COST WHILE I WAS IN THE CHAIR! IT WAS ONLY AFTER I READ THE TREATMENT PLAN, THAT I CAUGHT WHAT THEY WERE TRYING TO DO. THEY ADDED MORE SERVICES ONTO MY BILL WHICH DOUBLED IT!!! I SAID, NO I WAS QUOTED OVER THE PHONE THIS PRICE, NOT THIS. I AM ONLY HERE FOR THIS PROCEDURE NONE OF THESE OTHER PROCEDURES. ALSO ANOTHER PERSON WAS ARGUING OVER THEIR BILL AS WELL, THEY WERE OVER CHARGED BY 15OO.OO, AND THEIR INSURANCE WOULD NOT PAY IT. THEY WERE TOLD ONE PRICE, AND WERE BILLED A MUCH HIGHER PRICE AS WELL. DON'T GO TO THIS DENTAL PRACTICE!!!

I'm very confident that my health is their top priority, and I know they would never recommend any sort of dental procedure that I didn't need. I trust them completely. I will absolutely return. I had an amazing experience, and they were by far the best I've ever seen. They always go above and beyond to make sure I understand every single detail about my dental procedures. I'm always able to get all my questions answered, and I'm never nervous about starting a procedure.

When I arrived for my appointment the friendly staff seemed to be waiting for me. I've been to other places where I had to wait forever after I arrived for my appointment, but not here. I was very impressed. I am always so impressed with how quickly my calls are answered here. I am never put on hold for a long time and love knowing that if I have a quick question I won't have to wait a half hour through terrible music to get it answered. I am going to refer everyone I know here. I absolutely love this place. The Dr. Was very nice and very caring. He answered all of my questions and concerns and completely put me at ease. And he gave the best numbing I ever had! I didn't even feel the needle at all. Wow, Gentle Dental has a real Gentle Dentist!
