Lost filling after one day. Made appt to have replaced got in next day. Checked in waited then went to front desk to make an appt for a crown the filling I knew I needed a crown, sat back down waited another 45 minutes. Finally Clerk ask me if I was waiting on a ride... No waiting on Dentist... She informed me quite abrupt that I cancelled this appt and made one for Tuesday. I said why would I travel from Englewood to cancel an appt for you to put temp filling back in (ON FRONT TOOTH.) . She said you should not make another appt when you are here. Still trying to figure that one out. She made mistake and would not admit it... again abrupt you are just going to have to wait quite awhile.. SAID NO I'M NOT MADE APPT WITH TARPON SHORES AND THEY CAN FIX TOMORROW. There is always something good that comes out of bad.. they are right down from me in Englewood and have a wonderful staff. Called their manager in Sarasota. His reply to me on the rude exchange was we would have charged you for the filling again. Informed him that was not the issue.. Think they need to learn how to treat PAYING CUSTOMERS.
Save yourself a lot of drama and avoid this place. They took my 700.00 and replaced a veneer that came off within 24 hours and again within a week. Low end tools, questionable sanitation, they do not have state of the art tools, cements or service. They are closed on Friday. When I called about the veneer coming off while I was at an important business meeting, they suggested I used super glue on it until they could see me. The chairside assistants are poorly trained, the follow-up and call backs are non existent. Dr Carlos is a likable enough woman and may be an excellent dentist but she is held back by inexperienced help, old tools.
