dr greenberg found an unusual problem in my eye & referred me to specialoist who said the hollenhorst plaque she saw was so small that it could have been overlooked by other eye doctors & that dr greenberg was very good at finding this! i've seen her for more than 10 years & she has always been kind considerate & knowledgeable about my problems! when others say they have to wait it is because some people's problems take longer than others! rachel spent long time with me when she diagnosed my eye plaque issues & i was very appreciative that she took time to answer all my questions!

I have been going to Dr. Greenberg for over 10 years and have always found her to be extremely professional, very competent, and amenable to questions. She has always answered my questions in a professional and courteous manner.

Medical Eye Services, in Gurnee, where I see her, has a good process for getting folks in and out through the clinic.

I also like the Eyeglass shop there on site. They have always given me the correct prescription with the correct glasses and when I sometimes have trouble with my glasses, they have always been able to take care of my issues.

pros: able to get a same day appt for an eye injury with help from my primary MD.

cons: long wait times both in waiting area as well as in exam area. the waiting room was so full there weren't any available chairs. ( it happens but I waited nearly an 80 minutes after my appt. time before seeing the doctor.)
the doctor nor the assistant washed their hands prior to touching me ( me eye). I didn't think to say anything at the time because the doctor was asking me questions and then suddenly told me to be still as she was going to peel my eyelid back.
when I asked how to administer the eye drops prescribed to me the doctor said her assistant would show me and she (the doctor left the room). the assistant instructed me wrong, which I later found out after seeing a different doctor in a different office.
MOST IMPORTANT: After the 2nd visit, I was given a diagnosis. I was able to ask 2 questions about the diagnosis while Dr. Greenberg was trying to exit the room. Finally she said "Here. I'll write down the name and you can GOOGLE it."

Would you trust your health to a physician who gives you a diagnosis and then tells you to google it?
