Horrible! Avoid! It leaves you worse off. As one of the reviewers mentioned: they recommend major interventions just to charge more. And your dental health will be worse!

I am not accustomed to writing on-line reviews, but as a Good Samaritan (Luke 10:25-37), I know I must. I have significant TMJ. Dr. Yazdani’s website boosted a free consultation and interest free financing. As soon as I arrived for my appointment, her dental assistant took x-rays and photographs of me standing at the end of the hall. That day I had worn a loose fitting shirt that was hanging to my right side. I had on capris with elastic bands at the bottom, and my left pant leg was situated higher than the other. When I met with Dr. Yazdani, she reviewed my x-rays with me. She pointed to areas of my x-ray and spoke as if I was near death if I didn’t receive her treatment. She told me that my right side (the side with the hanging shirt) slumped and that my left leg (with the pants leg that was situated higher) was shorter than my right. She claimed that she could fix all of my problems with the resituation of my jaw. She said she works with a chiropractor who would fix my alignment. Afterwards her billing officer, Ms. Guerrero, told me that my treatment would be $7,700. She asked me about my finances, and since I was in such a state of paranoia (after all, I had just been told that my entire body was in horrendous shape and that I needed Dr. Yazdani to perform her miracles) I thought out loud: “Hmm, I have $XXX in my Navy FCU account; $XXX on my credit card, $XXX in my other bank account.” She added all of the money I mentioned, and presented the total balance. Keep in mind that this balance was all of the money I had. As for the “interest free financing,” REVIVE works with a crediting agency with a 26.99% interest fee. If you are short even a penny at the end of your two year loan repayment, you must pay 26.99% on the total amount borrowed. When I denied the treatment, she began a spiel like a used car sales person. When I still refused treatment she told me, “Wait a minute,” and came back with the “manager.” His first question was, “What is most important to you, your health or your finances?” I chose my finances because my health wouldn’t mean a thing if I was homeless. Then he made the most corrupt comment, “I bank with Navy FCU [ah, what a coincidence. Obviously Ms. Guerrero had told him that Navy FCU is my bank], and they are offering loans with 0% financing for the entire duration of the loan.” I told him that the credit union could not make money if they gave money away with no interest. He looked to the side and said, “I have a friend who is a leader at Navy Federal Credit Union, and he said since they have been doing so well, they want to share their wealth with their members.” His point was that I could sign up for their credit agency with the 26.99% interest and take out a Navy FCU loan to repay it. Amazingly, when I went back to the office the next business day to pay for the services I had received that one day that I was there, she presented a new treatment price for me: $2,200 less. I refused. When she presented the sheet with the breakdown of the costs for that one day of service, she charged me $200 for the “free” consultation, and included other erroneous expenses. I paid it to be done with them. However, REVIVE still owed my $500 for an incomplete service. I requested that money, and Ms. Guerrero mailed a “Release of All Claims” to me. This Release stated that I was acknowledging that I had received the $500, that I declared that my injuries are “permanent and progressive and the recovery therefrom is uncertain and indefinite…that the payment is not to be construed as an admission of liability of the part of Dr. Shila Yazdani...” The most astounding statement was that, “I further agree that I will keep the terms of this settlement confidential.” In essence, REVIVE wants me to sign a document that states that I will not alert the public about their corrupt antics. Further, REVIVE wants me to have this form notarized. All, of this drama is due to my simple request for reimbursement of money that I am due. I replied by sending an e-mail to Ms. Guerrero telling her to keep the $500 and to consider it a donation to their practice.

Hidden fees, no concern for patients, this office just wants $$$. Policies change without notifying patients. Terrible experience.
