Dr. Pennington Is an outstanding Cardiologist. His expertise is far above any I have been to. My ability to function is directly related to his expert care.

Dr. Pennington was the doctor who saved my husband's life a week ago today. He was very kind to me after the procedure even though I had never met him until then. He took the time to explain everything that had happened even though it appeared that he had worked a 16 hour day already when my husband tried to have a heart attack while in the hospital.

During every doctor's visit in the hospital, Dr. Pennington took time with my husband David and myself to answer any questions and offer sound medical advice. We think he is awesome!

Dr. Pennington is rude and does not like to answer questions. Not even when he's refusing to follow protocol for treatment and previously stated that he WOULD be following the standard treatment plan. He does not concede to other doctor's opinions even when their opinions are the consensus. He does not carefully check over the blood work and tests that he orders and seems to miss very obvious problems.

I would highly recommend another doctor - one who cares enough to listen, educate and treat you with respect.
