I had a really good experience at this office. I have recommended the office to several other family members.

Right after my initial phone call I became aware of the intolerant atmosphere reigning at Dr. Foley's office. I am going to be in need of one (if not more) dental implants and I found out that the costs for these are high but vary. Therefore I decided that I needed to basically shop around not only for the best oral surgeon, but also identify the costs involved. Dr. Foley was highly recommended by a general dentist so I was looking forward to the consult.
Then things turned sour, when I asked the receptionist for an initial free consult. I was cryptically advised that they did not offer such a thing…that there was some sort of "law" for me to be examined first and pay $90.- She was also very dismissive and not interested at all when I dared to mention that I had dental insurance. I think that this conduct does not lead to a good relationship between doctor and patient, neither does it do much for their business aspect. Coincidentally, a few minutes later I received an email from another recommended local oral surgeon offering free consultation and open for my choice of day and time to do this. All I can think is that Dr. Foley's office is in no need of future patients, or perhaps the Doctors are not aware of their front office staff behavior.

Unless you know how the entire process works (office visits, surgery, insurance authorization, time frame, etc) beware the intolerant office staff. I was actually hung up on after asking questions about how to set up a surgery, how quickly it could be scheduled, insurance, etc. When told I had to pay for the entire costs up front out of my own pocket, I asked why. The tone of the lady was one clearly one of irritation. She was exasperated with my questions. When I asked her if she could drop the attitude she hung up on me. I sent letters to the office which were never returned. So good luck
