Pros: Excellent care and concern. Very accessible via phone after hours.

Cons: I've had two appointments cancelled and rescheduled by her office. Contacting her office during office hours is extremely difficult and almost always goes to voicemail.

My husband and I see her and she has managed our medications and occasional need to "tweak" their changes from time to time. I have suffered with severe mental health problems and psychiatrists that would not change medications and tell me that "that is as good as it will get" or "you have to give it a chance", even after 6+ months on the medication. She takes the time necessary with each patient to truly listen and assess your condition and needs. The only down side to this is that since she takes plenty of time with each patient, she does run behind on her appointments. You WILL have to wait, so go ahead and plan on it. It is worth it and I wouldn't change doctors for anything! Her receptionis, Trish, is very sweet and insurance is filed promptly. They've had problems in the past with this, but now have a woman that knows her "stuff". She also has an office in Lakeland, so whether you prefer Winter Haven or Lakeland, she is available. She's great!

I was prescribed a medicine, and was having very bad side affects. Couldn't stay awake feeling very tired, hot & cold chills, etc. I mentioned the side affects to the dr. She felt continuing with the medicine would be best, and the side affects would just go away on their own. They didn't they got worse, and I started passing out. I googled the medicine, and their own website said if you experience any of these side affects stop taking immediately, and consult your dr. So that's what I did, but after a week of no even a call back to say come in. The dr could care less that I wasn't on my medication, and had absolutely no response to the fact I was passing out from it.

No, they are really great about answering the phone right away
