I agree with the other reviews. She shows no concern for the patient's care and does not communicate with family members. She does shows up after not seeing the patient and releases them from hospitals and nursing care without any discussion with the family. Find a different doctor.

Highly would NOT recommend Shah as your Dr .... I agree fully with some of these other reviews .... She doesn't show concern or care . If you care about your health you will not go here. She's being investigated and hopefully will have her licenses and practice pulled and have to shut down! Horrible Dr ... and not to mention her rude office staff that runs the show and the African American should not be doing all that she does !

Stay far away from this office. Dr. S. Shah would have killed my mother if I had not found a new doctor to treat her; they don't want to give any type of specialist referrals at this office; waited nearly 3 months for her to write a refer to see a pulmonologist; when she knew that my mother was not clearing her pneumonia. Their office specialize in geriatrics; the elderly are at a higher risk of death when it comes to pneumonia. When I confronted the doctor about the long wait and why she dragged her feet; she said she made an opinion based on my mothers physical appearance and nothing else. A person taking antibiotics for over 1 month and not clearing the infection is a red flag. When I asked more questions I could tell she was getting aggravated and she proceeded to tell me that if I was unsatisfied with her office (or her) that my mother could find a new doctor. This doctor does not care about her patients she only cares about her bottom line $$$. If you don't believe me make an appointment and try her out for yourself; I think they specialize in geriatrics because it's easier to dismiss the elderly and take advantage of them; if my mother didn't have someone like me looking out for her; she would still be getting subpar treatment and risking her health and life in this doctors hands.

This doctor, their staff, the entire office represents what is wrong with our healthcare system. I imagine she was trying to keep her specialist referrals down so that she would be reimbursed at a higher rate from the insurance company. Even the specialist office I went to said the same thing; "their office does not like to write referrals" (HMO plan require a written doctor referral to see a specialist).

I am unable to review Dr. N. Shah; the husband of Dr. S. Shah because I've only had interactions with the staff and Dr. S. Shah (the practice there consist of them both; a husband and wife team).

If I can save someone the hassle of low quality care or even someone's life from avoiding this doctor it'll have made writing this review worth it.
