Went to this doctor per recommendation. She answered many questions obtusely and did not seem to care about the partner's role in this process. She was evasive about how patient might have contracted e coli after the second surgery, and actually sent the partner out of the room for asking questions. On each of the 3 surgeries, she gave false hope with quips like "it's going to be ok, we got all the cancer" ~ yet all results thus far revealed additional cancer. Feedback from the first surgery was provided by another doctor whom we saw for radiation set-up, and we were told there was more cancer. Shocked that the worst medical news we have received as a married couple was not important enough for Dr. Campbell to deliver to us herself. Left feeling frightened and frustrated. Not sure if Dr. Campbell is homophobic, as this involved a lesbian couple. Overall, her bedside manner was evasive and uninformative. Have had to turn to internet and other professionals to get information about the recovery process and what to expect.
