I am dumbfounded at this doctor's policies. Twelve years ago (in '02) we took our 6 year-old son to see this guy for ADHD a few times before moving-on to a better doctor in Tampa. My son got better soon so he hasn't seen anyone for this for about 10 years. Now, today, I call his office to set an appt for my son, who is now 18, for the same reason - ADHD. As the receptionist is taking my info she suddenly stops and says - "he's been here before" in a tone of voice that told me something wasn't right. I was like "OK", "so what?" Well, she goes on to explain to me that back in April of '04 I called the office and told them we wouldn't need the doctor's services anymore so she tells me the doc "terminated" my son. I asked "you mean he won't see him again" and she replies in the affirmative. I cleared my throat and then asked if this was normal policy w/shrinks as I'd never heard anything like it before and she gives me some politically-correct crap about not being able to speak for some other practice and I said "no - just out of commons-sense, do you know of any GPs that do that?" and she gives me the same BS, pat answer - something she has obviously done many times before. So I'm thinking to myself - this guy fired my six year-old!??? HOW DOES THIS GUY STAY IN BUSINESS!?? HOW CAN THIS WOMAN WORK FOR HIM KNOWING THAT HE MIGHT MAKE ENOUGH MONEY TO GIVE HER A RAISE IF HE WEREN'T SUCK A SUPERCILIOUS, INSIGNIFICANT TWERP! Did they think I would beg for an appointment? HAH!

I have been going to Dr Taylor & have taken 2 family members as well after our 3rd visit we are DONE !! ALL 3 of us ! The Office Lady/Manager KATHY is the RUDEST, coldest woman Ive EVER come across & Dr Taylor is very aware of her actions! He has been told by myself as well as 2 other patients as we all spoke one afternoon when he was running LATE! 2.5 hours late ! Why would a Dr tolerate such behavior? I refuse to continue to pay his staff to treat me rude !

Dr. Taylor is a quack. He is very religiously biased which is fine if the patient is also religious but I am not. He consistently prescribed church or church affiliated treatment as part of therapy. I am not a Christian and am not asking for spiritual guidance. He mostly seemed not to care too much about my problems. Therapy is usually about helping the patient to find the best solution for themselves that they can live with not his judgment about how we should live our lives. At least that was what I was taught in my counseling classes in college-and yes I got A's in those.

He was usually late for appointments, I don't find that so disconcerting as most medical practices usually run late on appointments. It was his late/ no show policy that got me. I understand that most doctors charge a fee for late or no show. However they usually do not require you to come in physically to the office to pay before they will schedule your next appointment. They would not even accept a phone payment. I did not find the office staff rude. They were always kind to me but it is their job to enforce his policies and I am sure that is not fun for them.

He did not even follow up to see if I was okay even though he had prescribed medication for me. He didn't seem concerned that this may cause patients ill effects to come off medication suddenly. I can only pray that there are not too many doctors in the mental health profession as unchristian as he is!

they charge you if you are over 8 min late for your appt yet the doctor is never on time and 75% of the time i have had to reschedule as after 45 min the doctor still had not called me in yet. the upfront office woman is the coldest rudest woman ever. Being depressed and anxious to begin with, having to deal with such a mean person right upfront is totally unnecessary. And they charge over $80 to fill out any disability forms! That is outright thievery!!

My daughter saw Dr. Lendel Tayor for mental health care. As a follow-up to the care, we requested documentation be sent to my daughter’s school in order for her to qualify for the special assistance. We had a hard deadline in order for my daughter to qualify for the assistance needed. I telephoned the office and spoke with the office manager. The office manager was short and uncooperative: she would not let me speak to the provider, nor was she willing to make any accommodations outside of "standard" procedure to assist. As a result of the office’s actions, the documentation did not reach the school prior to the deadline to apply for National Testing accommodations for which my daughter qualifies. In this instance, the doctor/office was far more interested in following the office procedure than in caring for the patient.

Had an appointment scheduled for over a month, sat in the office for two hours waiting to be told that I would have to re-schedule the appointment because the doctor was behind and he had a patient to see at 1 o'clock. The appointment was rescheduled for a month later because the doctor is booked. I called later and spoke with Debbie the office manager she was not only rude but not at all helpful. In my opion just pick a different doctor he is obviiously not a caring/professional doctor and his staff isn't any better.
