I have been under the care of Dr. Bayer for approximately 18 years and have only the highest praise for this wonderful physician. She is a highly qualified doctor and a wonderful human being with a very gentle and caring attitude toward her patients. I highly recommend Dr. Bayer!!

I went to Dr. Bayer's office to confirm pregnancy. They did so and the next visit they requested that I pay a global maternity fee up front. Per my insurance company (BCBS) providers cannot bill the fee until 6 weeks after postpartum. To ask a patient to pay thousands of dollars prior to billing insurance is unprofessional (not to mention before prenatal visits, giving birth, etc.). Both my insurance company and I tried to explain this to Dr. Bayer's staff but in the end they didn't care. My happy experience quickly turned negative thanks to them! I do not recommend this doctor or her practice due to this and as noted by a prior reviewer...it's a SCAM!!!! Please find another OB! You'll have money saved which could be used toward buying much needed baby supplies instead of giving it to a doctor who shouldn't have requested it to begin with.

Biggest Medical Insurance SCAM EVER! DO NOT pay this office for your maternity coverage until she has billed your insurance! This office is trying to get paid prior to submitting claims to your insurance and prior to you even DELIVERING a baby!
