Dr. G has been my ob/gyn for many years. He is very intelligent, articulate, and competent. I believe he is good for women who like their docs to get to the point, and who don't necessarily need a lot of hand-holding. When I was younger and he took care of me during my pregnancy, he was great, although he probably rushed to the Pitocin, since I had been in labor only a couple of hours. Considering the epidural didn't take very well, it caused me more pain than necessary, in my opinion. Since that time, he has remained just as competent and good about answering questions, although he seems more rushed than ever. As I get older, that has bothered me more, because now that my body is changing, I appreciate patience a little more. I've wondered if he is just bored by non-pregnancy/labor related cases and would prefer not to deal with women who present with other issues.
