I agree that this place is way overpriced, they do not care about patients only money. If you call with a dental emergency they act like you are bothering them. They even charged for an emergency visit at noon on a tuesday!! DO NOT GO HERE STAY AWAY!!! These types of business are why insurance is so high because they overcharge for everything. I own my own business and i would never do this to my clients.

They answered most of my questions but I could have used more information. Their staff was friendly, but later, after spending over $4000 for a full upper and partial lower dentures I felt like I was being scolded when I tried to have the Doctor adjust the lower because it hurt terribly bad. He was afraid if he kept shaving some off that it wouldn't fit properly. Well, that was a year and a half ago and I still haven't used my new partial, I just use my denture I had prior to all this. I wish I had gone the implant way, how dumb I was......

I am so so so frustrated with this place. I feel lied to and deceived. This place is TOO EXPENSIVE, especially if you have out-of-network insurance. All I wanted was a cleaning and a checkup and I had called in advance to ask how much it would be because I didn't want to go over my yearly max in insurance because I had gum work to be done later on. The receptionist said I would have to wait till I came in. When I come in, I ask again how much it would be with my insurance and she said I had to wait till she called them. So without telling me the cost, she gives me a tour (which I must say is cocky as hell because the receptionist shows off all of Halibo's awards and praises him about all of this research and accomplishments he's done). She then tells the hygienist to startup the polishing, cleaning and x-rays with the hygienist without having given me the price. So I'm stuck b/c I'm already here and given the situation/timing, I had to stay. After x-rays and cleaning, she told me it was $280 on my insurance. So I left w/out the exam (~ $100) b/c it was too expensive and would've put me over my yearly limit. They also have a cash option that is (I think) only $90 for cleaning, exam, and x-rays (fyi: this is not supposed to happen. Legally, a dentist cannot charge more for an insurance patient than a cash-patient. The receptionist said this was a promotion, but you still cannot do that). So they charged me 4 times as much because I had insurance. Two months later, receptionist Lisa, calls me for $10 my insurance didn't pay. I did not realize that Halibo was this cheap and offensive and couldn't write $10 off after charging nearly $300. I wait for the bill (because I thought they would let it go and I really didn't want to spend the time, energy, and anger on writing this review) and another month later, she calls me again, with a $3.50 finance charge (even tho they didn't send me a bill). I expressed my frustrations to Lisa and she still wants the money. I explain to her that I felt deceived and thought that it was ridiculous for them to go after me for $10 even though they had already overcharged me. I told her I would write the review and she doesn't do anything about it besides say, "I'll have to check with the finance department." Let's be real honest here, they don't have a finance department. She was barely even sorry about my frustrations. I don't even think she was listening to me from what I was gathering. She was defensive as opposed to understanding. She could've helped reckon the situation, but she didn't. I think Lisa is very bad at customer service, but from reading other reviews, I think this represents Dr. Halibo and who he is as a dentist and businessman. I even thought he was good because of the other good reviews I had seen. Unfortunately, I was wrong. Bad service and all about the money. They didn't even care for me to come back. Please go elsewhere.

I have been going to Dr. Halabo for over 4 years now and my family and i love the office. The staff is super nice and they are such a hi tech office. i lovethe flat screen tv's and the head sets that drown out the sound of the drill. His work is great and painless and he guarantees everything he does. I would highly recommend him to any one.
