dr burak when i was in my teens, saved me and my life. i had brook up with my first relationship, nd for the first time i was out of controll and took an overdose. part of an agreement i mae with a doc that cared for me in the hospital, was to follow up with a md to get me through this. i went to dr burak, he helped me out of this dark place. he made me feel that he truley cared about me, at a time that i didnt even beleave in me. he helped me stop smoking, i was a little depressed that i didnt have money and he offered it to me. i didnt tak it but wow, he showed me that someone really cares about hat happens to me. i am in my 50;s now and still think of him alot. now am going through another crisis and realy want to get back to him. difference crisis but still in need,

Dr. Burak was the key to my treatment plan following a very difficult time in my life; both mentally and physically. I am a Medical Professional and I cannot say enough about his kind, compassionate yet professional and thorough way of helping me.

I read another review which accuses DR BURAK and HIS PARTNER at the time of horrendous acts leading to the death of his friend.

This is easily verified as not true!

Dr. Burak made me see that I can feel happy again!!

I'm sure these reviews are fake. I saw Dr. Burak when he worked with his wife and a third doctor, Dr. Tom Alkoff, in Vermont. I'm sure they left Vermont, or shall I say fled, because of lawsuits. My beloved friend Diane committed suicide because of these fakers. I can only imagine her last session with Carl. Oh, I suppose to his face she called him respectfully, "Dr. Burak," but she'd tell me in private, "I don't think Carl knows what he's doing at all." Sure, they're very good at pleasing their patients, kissing butt, making their offices look nice and shiny. They'll present their bills to your parents with a smile. The whole time, Dr. Alkoff was repeating back to my parents every word I told him. He lied to me, telling me he knew "all about eating disorders." And Dr. Carl Burak lied to me and to my parents as well. They might as well have been Wizards of Oz. Humbugs. So my friend Diane died. There were other suicides as well. The trio fled Vermont not long afterward. I'm not surprised. This is how doctors get rich. I'm not sure but it's possible this trio treated Libby Zion as well. Look her up. You doctors cover up your lies with a promise and a smile. I rejected psychiatry and all mental health care altogether. Liars and fakers like the Buraks and Alkoff should at least apologize to the families of the patients they killed. You can always tell that Dr. Burak genuinely cares. He is easy to talk to, genuinely concerned, easy to reach (he'll give you his cell number) very knowledgeable and he HELPED ME ... wooo hooo.
