I received a text on my cell phone to call for an appointment at 3:00 tomorrow. I have never been to Pinnacle Hills Dental Group and don't know how they got my cell phone number. I find this to be an odd practice to try to gain business. I already have an established dentist.

The best Dentist I have ever had, here or in other states. Very professional, and yet very friendly. Pinnacle Hills works with you and your insurance company, resending claims until accepted. Both Jay and Steven Stringfellow are really good and have a fantastic sense of humor.
My family has received the care necessary for good dental health including hidden cavities and crowns. Other dentists have put crowns without totally removing decay. Without x-rays many of those cavities would have been discovered too late to save the tooth.
The other thing is that they will discuss your concerns and will redo any crown that is not satisfactory by their and your standards. The hygienist who cleans your teeth will call in the dentist immediately if she sees something that needs attention. Their cosmetic work is exceptional; both Jay and Steve can match teeth color and shapes perfectly to get a natural looking smile. Both the dentists and their staff enjoy creating a smile that the patient can be proud of, and the assistant told me that the whole staff looks forward to the days when patients come in to have long time problems corrected so they can smile again.
I wholeheartedly recommend them to friends, family and anyone looking for a painless, and enjoyable visit.I

This group are in to make profit for their doctors beyond customer needs. They are always trying to rush you into crowns, root canals, x- rays even if you do not need them and frequently ignore your real needs. They do not meet their promises and have the worst follow up when you need them. Sometimes I heard the hygienics scolding their patients for "lack of dental hygiene" in a way that was disrespecful.
I ended up leaving and I have to almost beg them to transfer my records. I am at risk of losing a tooth due to a crown that provoked an infection due to their lack of diligence. However when it is time to meet your insurance needs and collect their bills they are very prompt. Worst experience ever. Now that I am somewhere else it is even more obvious that Pinnacle Hills Dental Group is in it for FAILURE

The practice is located in 2 separate buildings, across from Shiloh Christian school, just off of Pinnacle Pkwy. Suite A is where you check in, and Suite B across the courtyard, is where you are attended by hygienists. It is a very lovely office, with nice wall decor and furnishings, and aromatherapy candles. The front desk personnel are very professional and polite. The problem I have is with their push for x-rays, even for young children, which I feel should be suggested after looking at a patient's teeth, not before. I consulted with my former dentist, who is a self-confessed conservative when it comes to dental extractions and x-rays, and he wouldn't recommend an x-ray unless he actually sees something in my mouth that would warrant it, or if I complained about pain that would require an x-ray analysis. Within 5 minutes of being ushered into the seat, I was given x-rays - granted I'm a new patient - but was it really necessary - before even being seen by the dentist? The same thing happened when my son came in for his semi-annual check-up - the rush for x-rays, even though I had clearly entered in his records that he had JUST HAD X-RAYS, 6 months prior to the visit and wasn't complaining about anything.!!! The dentists took 2 minutes to look at him, declared there was nothing wrong and moved on. The cleaning was just as brief, and didn't involve dental scraping, like he's accustomed to back East. I wondered if it was because he wasn't worth the time since they weren't able to charge much for his visit. With me, the hygienist cleaned well enough, not painful at all with the plaque removal. The Dentist came in, shook my hand, looked at my teeth and recommended a crown procedure. I spoke to my previous dentist back home and he couldn't see why they'd want to crown me, and suggested I hold it off, especially since it didn't hurt me at all. The assistant (back home) explained that the higher the patient:dentist ratios and the more varied the patient insurance plans, the more likely they'd have to "manage" the treatment of various symptoms in a standardized way to streamline costs (read profitability). So if a procedure calls for a work intensive treatment, they will choose an option that's less time consuming albeit somewhat overkill. She also suggested that I look into where / who their supplier of crowns is, given the outsourced / foreign (China) production of dental implants/crowns that may contain lead. All these variables and their seeming rush to complete procedures (x-rays, crowns, etc.) is enough to make me choose another practice. It also isn't helpful that they aren't open on weekends.
