I presented to Dr. Salm's Physician's Assistant with a perfect Lyme bullseye rash. They insisted on waiting for test results before prescribing antibiotics, so I spent a good 2.5 weeks getting sicker and sicker from Lyme before they got around to writing a prescription. For a CT doctors office I find this to be comically stupid. My mistake was agreeing to see the physician's assistant instead of the doctor himself, but it was his mistake to hire someone grossly incompetent, to the point of being unable to diagnose Lyme disease from a bullseye rash in the heartland of Lyme disease territory.

My other visit to Dr. Salm was with the doctor himself for a routine wellness exam. It was unexceptional. The 2 star review is entirely related to the tardy diagnosis of Lyme disease. It's inexcusable when the patient can self diagnose weeks before the physician.

I've been going to Dr. Salm's office for over 20yrs and I always come out of the office with all my questions answered and feeling good every time I leave. The staff is very friendly and I could not have choosen a friendlier Doctors office.

They were so kind and attentive to me. I didn't have to worry about them arguing with me, or contradicting what I had to say, which has been a problem for me at other places. I've never had to worry about them being understaffed or not being able to help me right when I need it. They have a huge staff that's very knowledgeable and qualified. I was able to relax during my appointment here. Everyone makes sure you are comfortable and at ease. They never have that typical, annoying music playing here. If they do play music it is soothing and appropriate for the setting.
