I have already warned everyone I know not to go here. See a different dentist unless you want a horrible experience. They definitely don't have a good professional reputation within my community. Everyone knows they're not trustworthy at all.
I wish I could rate less than 1. This was the worst experience of my life. I took my daughter, age 5 for a filling. First, he was adamant that I not go back with my daughter. She is extremely shy and I insisted. This seemed to make him mad from the beginning. I may not have insisted, but there were 2 other children who came out before it was my daugther's turn - one was crying and the other child's face was read on the sides, as if she had been held down. I should have taken that as a clue. Basically, he gave my daugther a shot and IMMEDIATELY started drilling. She pressed her head back into the chair with tears rolling down her face. He said that she was out of control and needed to be on ritalin. Keep in mind that she didn't turn her head, but was obviously in pain. I'm not sure how long you are suppose to wait, but I know from my own experience, it's not immediate. My daughter has never been in trouble in school, her teachers always comment on how quiet she is and she never says a word. A dentist, attempting to diagnose a child with ADHD, I was speechless. After giving the shot and immediately picking up the drill. He told me he could not work on her, b/c she was out of control. I told him he could stop there. I had never been so lost for words and upset that I did not stand up more quickly for my daughter. I have since learned in telling this story to other moms that apparently this is common for him. I've been shocked to hear stories like this over and over. Please don't take your child to this man. He should not be around children. It's my understanding he is now under investigation by DHR for leaving bruises around a child's neck, I hope they shut him down. I have since found a fantastic dentist in Daphne and it is worth the drive. My heart goes out to anyone who has had to encounter this dentist.
