Although Dr Rubick is the best doctor I have ever had, I can not recommend his office due to a situation that recently occurred. My family have been patients of Dr Rubick for the last four years and he and his other physicians and PA's have been awesome with care. Recently we had a issue with a Tricare referral that we tried to get assistance from Dr Rubick's office staff. The situation was a very frustrating issue and our ignorance of the Tricare rules caused the situation in the first place. However, when working with Dr R's staff they became very short with us, raised their voices to us when we were trying to understand the situation, and they did not have good inter-office communication. Our frustration also grew and the conversations on both sides started to get unprofessional. We finally were given instructions from the office on how to contact another doctor's office for assistance. All of this could happen at any time with the frustrations surrounding the insurance company referral and benefits sstems and frustrations can cause conflict, however, the reason I can nto recommend Dr Rubick's office surround the actions of their office after this issue. Dr R's office staff lied to him abot the situation and they took no responsibility for their part of the conflict and Dr Rubick's response was to ask my family to find another doctor. I find this very unsettling as your physician is who you should be able to trust and for him to throw us away for a single conflict, especially one that was created just as much by his office staff as by us, is unfortunate. RECOMMENDATION TO HIS OFFICE is not to have family members as office staff as that always has the potential of unprofessional issues
