I received good medical advice and care from this physician, The BIGGER issue is that he jumped ship from Pikes Peak Physical Medicine, left his license lapse with my insurer and now wants to charge me private pay costs! Most doctors write this off during lapses in their licensing, but not Dr. Jenks office. Be prepared! Orignally I got a #925.00 fill for 15 minutes in his chair. Then it dropped to $625 (above and beyond my $50 co-pay that was already paid) upon insurance denial for out of Network. It is important to know that I got a referral, contacted my insurance, was told he was in network, and scheduled appointment. By the time my appointment date arrived, they took my co-pay, said nothing about not accepting Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield, and sent me to my appointment. They are still trying to collect from me. ADVICE: You must confirm 1 minute before your appointment whether your Dr. is still in network. I am VERY frustrated with his decision to jump ship and work with an out of network provider without contacting me or putting a sign up at his office.

He/she would never do that! Their full attention is always on me.

Easy to set an appointment. Front desk, while very busy has been very helpful.
This is a professional office. They don't joke around and they do take their jobs seriously. I have always felt treatment is centered on me and my well-being.

My PCP refered me to Pikes Peak Physical Medicine. I was very happy with Dr. Jenks and his Medical staff. In fact, I had planned on making 2 more appointments with this facility. That was until I had to interact with the billing department. They did not care to call insurance companies and help solve issues regarding insurance coverage. In fact, I thought that was their job. The individual was completely unprofessional and I felt like I was talking to a teenager going through some sort of anger issues. When I went up the chain to complain about the unprofessionalism that I receive, the Service Manager was just as condesending as the billing department. After doing the leg work for the billing department and trying to solve the problem at hand, they still didn't want to call the insurance company to verify the info that I was giving to them. I will never go back there again. The doctors and nursing staff were wonderful, but if a company tries to double dip from the patient and the insurance, I would rather take my business somewhere else.
