After Dr. Cogan took $23,000.00 from my ex and I. I have received the worst quality of report that you can imagine, and his conclusion was ludicrous. All I can say is that Dr. Dana Cogan is very incompetent. That is why he has to list pages of qualifications on his resume. Even some day he may have 100 year of experience, I tell you, you will be a big victim if you ended up in his hands. I feel very sorry for you if you have to go through the process with him. He has concluded that the domestic violence abuser in this case is the father has had a good intention. He is unethical, incompetent, and ludicrous. You should not choose him even he is the last person alive.

Dana Cogan does not check collaterals and his alliances seem random. Tell your lawyer that he's dangerous for you, AND for your lawyer's business. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD YOU AGREE TO HAVE HIM ON YOUR CASE!

Remember: Dana Cogan is enterprising and has an ego the size of the Grand Canyon. His a big fish in a little, but highly toxic, pond. He doesn't care about you or your family, and he doesn't even care about doing a good job. He cares about a consistent paycheck at a time in his life when the only license he should hold is a fishing license.

I couldn't believe that they would charge that much for a single appointment. I'm still paying it off. There's been a few times where they've been late to my appointments. It was very frustrating, especially since I show up on time every time. They didn't discourage my negative behavior at all, they actually encouraged it. They didn't seem to care how my negative behavior would affect me. Not only was I dissatisfied with my visit, I ended up leaving with more problems than I had when I came. They made my situation even worse.

Yes, I was completely ignored for a long time!

The phone rang a lot and it was really annoying

Like others who have written reviews, Dr. Cogan wrecked havoc on our family. My ex and I saw through it, though, and resolved our case after his PRE report. Cogan's bad act reunited our family, but others aren't so lucky. We were so put off that we want to warn everyone else about his dishonesty.

Cogan also acts like Dustin Hoffman in RainMan. He kind of sits there panting and won't look you in the eye. Don't let the mentally disabled look fool you, though...he's a mean spirit and knows good and well what he's doing. We agree with other posts reporting the weird stuff he keeps in his kitchenette. Dude, save your fiber routine for home. But most importantly, quit messing with our kids.

Dr. Cogan can be bought! If you're seeking a fair and balanced evaluation, FIND ANOTHER DR! He's typically more concerned with you "rejuvenating your retainer" than finding out the root cause of the problems he's evaluating. He is negligent in his process for not VERIFYING pertinent, yet uses false information as the basis for his recommendations. Despite this, he has accumulated a dangerous amount of power and control over the Courts and will even tell you that, if you ask him. Obviously, I didn't feel like I got a fair evaluation and I'm paying significantly more than the $35K he took from me to correct his mistakes. I'm only writing this to prevent other people and families from suffering the same injustice. STAY AWAY

I was 16 when Dr. Cogan did a PRE report on my family. He tore our family apart.. When I became an adult I looked up the report. He lied about things that I said. He hurt both of my parents. My parents' attorneys messed up by agreeing to use him. He drained my college savings. I hope someone does something about him.

Dr. Dana L. Cogan is notoriously in the game and he is as much of a hired gun as they come. He made our already painful divorce worse.

After a CFI report years ago, my ex and I reconciled, which reuninted our family. I can honestly say that Dr. Cogan was extremely unfair to my ex. I also know that I was the one who was footing the bill, which put my ex at a disadvantage. I think that this influenced Cogan.

Dr. Cogan also keeps his Metamusil out in the open in the office where eveyone can see it. YUCK....

Not at all. They discouraged negative behaviors and suggested helpful solutions
