Amazing and skilled doctor. She genuinely cares about her patients and will take extra time and go the extra mile to make sure they get the care they need. She helped me with a mole removal. I felt ZERO pain during the procedure. She was very professional and informative. She took extra time to explain the different types of skin cancer and helped me to feel comfortable and at ease during the appointment and procedure. If you are looking for a cancer doctor or even just a general surgeon, you can't do much better than Dr. Brooks.

my dermatologist told me that I have melanoma. He called Dr. Brooks and got me in to see her the same day. I looked up melanoma on the web, and learned that it can be a deadly disease. Needless to say, I felt that my days on earth were coming to an end. Dr. Brooks explained to me my pathology report, and I was much less scared afterwards. My surgery went real well. I was expecting a lot of pain, but was so pleasantly surprised that I only needed to take one pain pill afterwards. Dr. Brooks took my drain out in the office, and it was painless. Friends had warned me that taking a drain out was so awful for them. Dr. Brooks has a gentle touch, and I feel very lucky to have been referred to her. She also gave me advice on how to make my scar less visible. Being a woman, I think that she understands that looks matter to patients. I am now cancer-free, and I look forward to seeing Dr. Brooks regularly in my followup checkups.

Dr. Mai Brooks was so kind and attentive to me. I didn't have to worry about her or her staff arguing with me, or contradicting what I had to say, which has been a problem for me at other places. She really cares about informing her patients, and made sure I understood all of my treatment's risks and benefits. I will absolutely return. I had an amazing experience, and Dr. Brooks was by far the best I've ever seen. It is obvious that her office is cleaned regularly. It was fantastic. Dr. Brooks has so much helpful information available online. She has an impressive website that's easy to use, with a way to directly email the doctor.
