I always had the feeling that I was overmedicated. On one medication, doctor prescribed dosage that was 50 percent more than manufacturer's recommended dosage. When I had new insurance coverage, insurer would not allow the dosage over the maximum daily dosage recommended by the manufacturer. Questionable professionalism - told me (I never asked) about his feelings about politics and how he would like to stop accepting any insurance. Told me about his kids and other things that wasted my time during my sessions. I thought the sessions were for us to talk about my issues. The best description of his office was that it looked like a trash dump. I was amazed how he could find a document out of one of those piles. But the one thing you really noticed about his office is that every pen, desk accessory, clock and everything else was supplied by and featured a drug manufacturer. Anyway, now I hear that his license has been revoked by the State of California.

i have been a patient of Dr. Hockenbury's for over 11 years. He is a fine Doctor who cares about his patients. He works on solutions and reaching goals. I trusted him with my life and that's why I'm still alive. I couldn't be happier.

It definitely wasn't easy finding parking at their office. I eventually found a spot but only after I had circled around for a long time. They were very polite and helpful and made sure that I had everything I needed. Not only was I dissatisfied with my visit, I ended up leaving with more problems than I had when I came. They made my situation even worse. I would never recommend them to anyone. They made my situation even worse. They made sure that their qualifications were obvious. I was confident that I was under the care of a professional. He was actually very hard to contact and I had to find another doctor because of my medications. He is not organized and his office is a mess. He lost my file while I was entering. No responses to repeated telephone calls during business hours. This has just been since the middle of 2013.
I like him very much, but he seems very stressed out and weird.

They were very polite and helpful and made sure that I had everything I needed. I will definitely refer my friends and family here. They were great and I think more people should know about them. They've never used foul language, which has bothered me at some of the other places I've been too. They always make an extra effort to be polite and courteous. They've answered a couple of my questions over the phone, but most of the time I have to schedule an appointment. They put in the extra effort to make me feel valued and important.
