Treated very badly by this office. The providers seem incompetent and don't even provide the basics for being PCP. My first visit to get established was just a blood test order and a "Goodbye".. Trying to get a physical as I haven't had one in many years was met with difficulty and was done with such lax and carelessness and even the basics were not done. Never any help with questions or concerns or even a talk or advice about general health. Sent for tests and imaging for a specific problem and to this day I have received no information from them.

I was a patient of Dr. John C. Jackson for 14 yrs, from 1990-2004. I stayed with him as he took Medi-cal as my insurance, and he did try to help, SOME. But I was born with Psoriatic Arthritis and other serious health issues that he never diagnosed. When I needed an EMG and no one in the GV?NC area would do it, the doc left it up to ME to find someone that would! I did, then there didn't seem to be any effort made to find me a surgeon. He did, however, send me to the shrink, who asked me why I was there, as if a person has had 8 major surgeries, inc 4th stage unterine cancer @ age 28 is a hypochondriac. Well, apparently Jackson thought i was, and told SSI that in the reports he filed. I showed him my pitted nails, the psoriasis, my bone spurs. I went in, told him the Tylenol #3 wasn't working for the pain, couldn't we do something more. He was having a bad day, yelled at me, prescribed the Fentanyl 50 patch! Said the blood test said NO RA, so that was that, as far as he was concerned. When I moved to Shasta County, I tried to get his office to release my 14 yrs of records, and they refused. He's great for the flu, basic GP care, as long as you aren't too sick!
