The chairs in the waiting room at this doctor's office were the cheap plastic kind. My back started to hurt while I was waiting. They barely gave me any information at all. I'm going to have to do my own research to get my questions answered. Their staff was not friendly in the least; I really didn't feel welcome there. Their office was mostly well organized and clean. I could tell they took time making sure it was presentable. There's no way I'll ever be back to this provider.

A truly horrible experience and a very expensive mistake going here!!! Of all the many other dermatologists in the LA area, trust me, DO NOT GO TO THIS WHACK JOB DOCTOR IN HIS RIP OFF OFFICE. If you do, you will get what you deserve for ignoring these bad reviews. I'm sure there are many more other unhappy patients who haven't bothered to write a bad review -perhaps too busy paying lawyers (like I am) in bringing justice to such a "practice". _In a nutshell, misdiagnosed expensive blatant runaround and the most rude individual I ever met. I've nicknamed DR. JACK SILVERS, Dermatologist: "Dr. Jekyll and Hide" -because at first meeting he's as sweet and accommodating as can be but then god help you if you should ask a valid question regarding his treatment or fees -then he snaps your head off!

Everyone in my community knows that they are the absolute best in the field. They were by far one of the best I've ever seen in their field. It was obvious that they've been exceeding their clients' expectations for many years. The office was very easy to locate. I didn't have any trouble finding it at all.

If you want to have less than average results, and a bill you can't afford to pay, go to Dr. Silvers.

3 years ago, I went to see Dr. Silvers for a small, light-colored mole on my forehead. He "removed" it basically by scraping it off, and yet it was still there, not much better at all, but better nonetheless.

Several months ago I went back to Dr. Silvers. He is so convenient based on where I work, that I couldn't help but give him another shot. This time I was going to remove some broken capillaries on my nose. He said his laser light machine would do just the trick, and it would take care of the discoloration. It was seriously such a small area, but an obvious one, and with my wedding coming two months later, I wanted to give it a shot. He charged me $235 for this. At that time, I also asked him about the mole again. He said something with adults, the mole can come back, and he would scrape it off again. I was concerned about how much it would cost me. Last time, it was about $50. He said it should be about the same this time, so I agreed to give it another shot.

Two weeks later, the capillaries were still there, and the mole bigger and more obvious than ever. I went to visit him, and he said the capillaries would go away, that it needed more time. For the mole, he shot it with another one of his laser lights, and injected it with something to make it smaller. It did not get any better, so ultimately I was worse than when I started.

I finally got a bill for his "service", literally 2 full months later. $186.06!!! For a tiny little mole that took him 20 seconds to scrape off!! WHAT?! I almost had a heart attack. I was very clear with the doctor that I didn't have unlimited funds to spend on cosmetic procedures, and that the $235 already spent that day on the broken capillaries was already a stretch for me. I was certain to make sure this wouldn't be a costly procedures, and he assured me it wouldn't be.

After I received my bill, I called his office to see if perhaps there was an error. I called on 5/2/2011 and was told that I needed to call back the next day when the billing person was in. I called on 5/3/2011 and spoke with Azi at 10:30 am. She said she would get back to me. I waited and finally called back on 5/19/2011. She again said she would talk to the doctor and get back to me. Like before, she didn't get back to me, so I called the office again today, 6/6/2011. Azi told me that the doctor denies ever saying that the change would be around $50, and that a mole removal is $250. UM, he NEVER told me that. I would NEVER have done it if that was the case.

Not only is Dr. Silvers inefficient and unsuccessful in his treatment for my two very basic issues, he is also overly-expensive and must pay very low wages as his office staff is extremely unprofessional.

I am sick that in 15 minute office visit in which no benefit was received, I am having to pay $421.06.

DON'T GO WITH CONVENIENCE!! It's not worth it!
