They paid close attention to me and all of my questions were answered. Their staff is very friendly and professional. I was very satisfied with my visit. They were helpful and I left feeling encouraged. Dr. Setty made a very great effort to insure that I would receive the follow-up care that was required.

He told my husband, who had a blood clot a year earlier, that the doctor's partner should have ordered a Greenfield filter installed... a year ago. He ordered one immediately, but did not read the file well ehough to know that my husband would need to be asleep for the proceedure due to a medical problem beyond his control. When this was brought to his attention, he tried to blame my husband for "not telling him" instead of admitting he hadn't read the file well enough. The appointment was canceled, and we were told someone from the cath lab would contract us immediately. They did not contact us at all. Repeated calls to this doctor ended up in having to leave messages. We were told the doctor would respond, he did not. We called again and again for answers to our questions, no calls were returned in over a week. The other factor was that at one point we were told the clot was 6 inches going up from the back of the knee. Then it was from his knee to his groin. Then it was also in his calf. We were unable to get any answers about where it was or how big it was. Nor were we told WHY the Greenfield filter was needed at this point a year after the clot was discovered. My husband had been on medication the entire time and following all of the doctor's instructions. All we heard was that it was SOP, standard operating proceedure, which it is not.
