i saw dr carter because i was suffering from severe sleep apnea. I was extremely nervous and he put me at ease. he was very confident and intelligent with his recommendations. he performed an adenoidectomy and tonsillectomy on me two weeks ago and i could not have asked for anything better. he explained every step of the surgery to me, and performed the surgery very quickly. i healed VERY fast with ZERO complications. no infections, no bleeding, very minimal pain, no vomiting, i was able to talk and eat soup the same day i got surgery. i actually almost missed my surgery because i missed the call from the hospital. i called dr carter after hours on his personal cell phone and he immediately figured out what was going on with my appointment time. my sleep apnea is gone and i no longer snore. i havent slept this great in years. i would reccommend dr carter to anyone and everyone!

One of the first things I noticed about this business was how many different areas of the building were handicap-accessible. I have been to other places where I couldn't tell how someone in a wheelchair could even enter, but they really spent a lot of time to accommodate people with all different needs. They are completely committed to helping me as long as it takes to find the best solution. I never have to worry that they'll back out or give up if a solution isn't reached immediately, which has been a problem for me at other places. They explained all the risks and benefits of my treatment options. Everything was explained in detail, all my questions were answered, and I felt a lot better about choosing a treatment plan. They always make an extra effort to make me feel respected and attended to. They always listen to every question or concern I may have. This place is so fantastic about involving patients in their treatment method. They were curious about any input I had and took everything I had to say to heart. I must compliment Dr. Carter and all of his staff. I had to see a specialist for chronic sinus infections and was referred to Dr. Carter. After a few visits it was determined to control my issues we should consider surgery. The option to have surgery was presented to me in sensitive light and I was given every opportunity to try other methods if I was not sure. I decided to go ahead with the procedure. During recovery I was still experiencing what I thought was sinus headaches. Dr. Carter was amazing with working on what the cause would be. I was seen 2 months longer than a regular patient would have to and he was adamant about finding a reason AND solution to this matter. He contacted my regular physician directly to work on possible reasons, continued to exam me and give me alternatives to prescription medications (which I dont like to take). When all was said and done after dissecting my issues with Dr. Carter it is now a matter of hormone issues that may have been a part of my headaches for years on top of the allergies I had! Dr. Carter is one of the most patient, caring and concerned physicians I have come to know, and I work at a hospital full of them! I would recommend him and his entire staff for anyone experiencing ENT issues or concerns.

Office staff is wonderful. They are always polite and help the patient flow go well, from check in to check out. Wait time in the lobby can be long, but once in the exam room the visit flows well. Office is always full when I go in. Doctor Carter is very informative and explains everything to my 11 year old son before he does it. Never any problem getting my son in to be seen last minute for his ear infections/pain. He knows my son well and takes better care of my son then his primary care MD. I am thankful for all of Doctor Carters help to prevent further issues and solving the ones that already exist.
